Thanks for the review. I'm about to pick mine up in a few days. (RX350H) Wish it was the Mark Levinson system. I ended up pulling the trigger on the upgrade after listening to both in the parking lot for some short clips of 4 or 5 songs that I know well. I could definately hear the difference but I was surprised that I could still max out the volume on both systems on tracks that had lower levels. (I can't max them out on my Harman Kardon system in the Mercedes)
I had a problem with it. Like you said it's more forward sound than surrounding. I did try the mark system and didn't find it much better. Looking at upgrading the system, for an 80,000 car it should be better than this.
I noticed it is also very hard to find the Lexus RX with the ML system if you are wanting to buy one. Only the very top trim level that was going for 80K was coming with it. You may be able to special order the ML with a mid trim level for less, but I am not sure.
In Canada as far as I can tell the ML is only available in the top two trims approx 15000 dollars above the starting price so the quality of the base system is important, as amazing as ML is 15k is a big jump in price.
Could you potentially find an F10 5 Series, F01/F02 7 Series, F15 X5 or F16 X6 with the upgraded B&O System? Back then BMW had HK and B&O then they switched to B&W, Thanks.
anyway this sound system could be upgraded and integrated into the Lexus interface? Back in the day it would be easy to install a Pioneer or Alpine system with the headunit etc but nowadays I have no idea what is possible
Love your channel, your the only one doing this properly, I have a question, how come you put the Volvo cheaper bowers systems above the ones in new 7series ? Surely with 30 odd speakers they sound better ?
@@DailyMotorSound wow that’s some really big praise for Volvo, be interested for you to try the refresh model S 22 speaker system and the New Model 3 Highland 17 speaker.
Unless it has already been answered here and I did not see, can someone tell me what the total wattage is for the standard 12 speaker system? When I had my '22 Acura RDX A-Spec Advance, it was rated at 710 watts. I have called so many Lexus salespersons and nobody knows what the actual wattage is. Not too great for a salesperson not knowing everything about the car that they sell. The Mark Levinson system is rated at 1800 watts. How many watts does the STANDARD 12 speaker system have??
Please do a MG4 Trophy/Luxury review. Only 6 Speakers w/o Subwoofer, but certainly not the worst system i have ever heard. Would be interesting to see a more basic and mass compatible electric car in your tests..
The 2010 rx350 I just traded in for this had a much better stereo. I hate it, even after adjusting the base and centering, it's muffled and awful. ARGH!!
Yeaaa I really just think you don’t know what you are talking about. For this price of car the audio system is pretty bad. The mark L you can’t stop drooling over for $6k+ upgrade is only about 10% better and Dallas well behind the Bose, the Harmon Kardon or B&h in ford. And doing an audio review through TH-cam where every person will hear different depending on their headphones or speakers vs what it actually sounds like in the car is pretty comical
FINALLYYYY THE RX SOUND SYSTEM !!!!!! Can't wait for the Mark Levinson sound system 😮💨
A very unique TH-cam channel and the best in what it does. Thanks Charlie for the awesome work you do 💯.
I'm currently listening to it via youtube -> laptop -> behringer amp -> audio-technica headphones, nevertheless it sounds amazing

For a base system I thought it sounded really good no disappointment there.
Are going to test the Mark Levinson version too?
Gonna try! It might be some time, though, as I have to justify getting another RX from Lexus just to review the sound system, essentially.
@DailyMotorSound hopefully they'll do it sooner than later, but keep up the great work im always on the lookout for your videos

ml in new lx , tx all sounds shit to me

They had an amp shortage for a while staring to see a bit more of them now

One note on your testing: sources count. WiFi BT native radio USB two channel micro plug.
Come to Montreal. I'll let you test my 2023 RX with ML system!
I think you need to have complicated songs to fully enjoy the ML system.
Just like harmon kardon systems on BMW surround off sounds more natural.

Thank you. Could you please do a Rivian sound system test? 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Sure! I'm planning on requesting one soon. Probably do R1S first.

Please test the new RX 350 with a Mark Levinson. Thank you!
How do you compare this 12 speaker base system to the upgraded Hartman Kardon system in the Volvo XC90?😊

Thanks! More doesn't always mean better. The tuning and the power of the Volvo systems are remarkable.

@@Rollaroundtap Me too! Unfortunately Tesla doesn’t do press vehicles, so I’ll have to find one another way.

What are the top 3 cars or suv has the best A+ sound system

No door woofer in the back doors?
Is the silver part of the wheel metal? Also what are those two punk glowing dots on the wheel?
Those glowing dots are driver attention monitoring sensors, the car beeps if you are not paying attention to the road in front
unity speaker? you mean like a coaxial?
Is the Mark Levinson in the 2024 Lexus NX the same as the RX?
No. 17 vs 21 speakers set up.
Who makes the base sound system in the RX?
Pioneer or panasonic, different sites provide different brands. i guess it depends where are you buying from

5:26 you can literally change the track right on the android auto screen.
You're right, if you were listening with Android Auto, you could. However, if you were listening to radio or USB (as I was), then you have to leave.
You ran the red light 👁👁
