Some who wear Vietnam Vet hats don't necessarily appreciate it, which I get. (I understand Vietnam wasn't a particularly popular conflict, and what not, but that's not the veterans' fault). But I do my best to thank every vet I see.

Thank you for this story. We must remember, no matter what we believe, veterans did what they did for their country. We should do everything possible to return these individuals to our society ... healed and healthy.
As grandson of a WW2 veteran speaking, I became very appalled by the distasteful actions of both the pawn shop owner and also Toby. Come to think of it, Toby's father should've shipped him off to a military academy while the pawn shop owner got shipped off to a boot camp prison.
It’s a shame that some veterans get so little service in America after they’ve suffered through years of service to America. A lot are homeless and dealing with mental illnesses but are cast aside as useless. But regardless, every one displaying respect should receive it. Great message.
What’s also makes me mad is the fact that America protects corporations. That’s how they stay rich. They would rather protect corporations than tax them more and help small businesses and pay workers higher wage
@@SUREETBHATTACHARYA Not all of them I think. And it depends on how long they've served. Some may not get full benefits and if they can't serve due to injury or illness I'm not sure if they get anything or not enough to sustain them.
I'm glad both of those men got what they deserved. We need to treat our soldiers with respect. My dad was in the Air Force. I always thank a soldier for their service when I see them.
All Veterans should be treated with respect and honor if it was not for them we would not have the kind of life that we have. When ever I see a service person I always tell them thank you for your service and I mean it. God's continued love and blessings to everyone.
This is my favorite video so from from DramatizeMe. Huge Thumbs Up on this video, it broke my heart to see how people treated this war vet people should never be treated like they showed in this video I Salute to Our Vets whom fought for us all.
I have watched this for soooo many times. Everytime the Veteran introduces himself, i feel goosebumps. I love this episode sòoo much.🥰🥰🥰God bless you, dramatizeme. I love you this big.
I love how the two veterans saluted each other regardless of their former ranks in the army and regardless if the main guy never stated his previous rank
i almost didnt watch all of this video because of the disrespect the others showed the elderly man, but im glad i did. the disrespect that people dish out to our veterans makes me so angry that i just want to punch them. my father was a veteran & he was push down the steps of a bus & broke his arm but that person was charged & chastised by the judge for being so horrible
That person was just cruel demonic evil mean and rude and low down dirty heathen skunk because God does not like ugly and that is why God took care of that situation the way that he did how is your dad doing right now?
This video does honor to the 101st Airborne Division that fought in Normandy, Bastogne, Hamburger Hill, Panama, and is currently stationed in Romania. Thank you soldiers of the 101st for your service and continuing the legacy. Thank you DramatizeMe for such great writing and the homage. This is a great TH-cam channel.
This is the best story! I just thought it was like one of the normal stories but thank you for spreading awareness for veterans who get made fun of. ❤️

I was in tears. The guys that came back from Vietnam were treated very very badly. They went to fight for us and then when they came home nobody had any use for them. Makes me sick to think about it
I'm literally crying while watching.... 😭😭 So disrespect towards the people who are saving from the enemies nd sacrifices there whole hearted life's for all of us
Oh man that was so wonderful to watch. Huge respect for war veterans who live and die for their country. Men with honor, integrity and respect. However, a lot of countrymen take the freedom for granted without a relization of a soldier's suffering and sacrifices they made for them.
This story reminds me of my dad who fought in WW2. It makes me sad to see the way that vet was treated even though I know it's just a story I still cried for him. People need to treat our vets with respect they've been through things we could never understand and have to return to normal living like nothing's wrong I'm sure it's not easy to do that.
This is why you should never do anything against a veteran. I myself am also a war veteran. I served in the army for 23 years I was attached to the 583rd infantry division. I am proud to have served in the United States army. So here's my question to all who see this post.have you thanked a veteran for his/her service?if not, you should.
This story tore me up to pieces 😢 How rude of the men to treat an elderly that way, vet or not, they deserve respect. To all who have served and serving our country... Thank you all and may God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏
Made me tearful too. "Thankyou for your Service" lost my dad he was killed aged 31, missed him all my life!! I was only 8 years old then, many years ago!
I am not even in your country, but I have so much respect for your military men and women, including those who are ex military, I salute you all, my grandfather was a desert rat during the war and he served alongside a lot of American military men and women, that respect still lives on in this grandchild and will carry on until my days are over. God bless America.

This one brought tears 😢to my eyes my father was in the army and he passed 1yr ago and i just lost my uncle 2 days ago and he also fought for this country and to think anyone would treat veterans like this breaks my heart these men's and women's go through alot and could of died to only come back to there home to be treated like shit its not right its wrong and we have to do better

I'm sobbing right now. Veterans deserve a good home. Heck. They deserve the world. They kept us safe. They risked their lives for us. It chocks me up every time. I can't understand why people can be so awful. I started crying the moment he sold his metal. It was heartbreaking to see him sell something he loved so much for such little. And for a fallen soldier. Respect the people who protect this country. Because of them we can live with peace and no fear of waking up to wondering if you're the next to die. To all veterans reading this. Thank you for everything
Thanks to all of our VETERAN'S. I greatly appreciate them all. My brother went to Vietnam two times. My daddy fought in World War II, Uncle's on both sides fought to. May GOD BLESS ALL OF OUR VETERANS. I HAVE GREAT RESPECT FOR THEM ALL 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
After I left the service I was homeless. Couldn't get my head and life straight. If it wasn't for other veterans helping me I probably wouldn't be here 20 years later. It's also why I try to help other veterans that are where I once was. Been able to help some, but not all. One of veterans that helped me passed away a few years ago. Just want to honor him. Makes me try harder.
Idk, I hate to believe that our veterans are treated this way...but sadly many of our veterans can and potentially have been treated this way! Thanks for this video!!!
Made me cry m from. India never knew the army sacrifices but more I knew I have utmost respect fro. Th we can sit in cozy rooms but none of us who r sitting have the right to judge these army legends
OMG Veterans risk their lives to protect their country and are disrespected and treated like trash. The way the pawn shop owner (always playing the bad guy) treated him was disgraceful and the young punk had no respect for his elders. This was a Beautiful skit it almost bought me to tears. My husband is a veteran and it angers me to see how people treat them. Lovely ending; one arrest and the other fired. My husband did not sell his medal but, desperate people do crazy things but, thank GOD he got his medal back!

No, keep the medal. My brother and I have kept our Dad's Army ones together and in a display case. I just was awarded a simple Navy Achievement Medal during my service, nothing special, but even that, I'd never sell it. I'm excited to see this one, teaming up with this excellent actor!

This story cry me a lot. Salute to all veteran soldier who fight for our world. May the next generation recognized your heroism.
It’s a shame that some veterans get so little service in America after they’ve suffered through years of service to America. A lot are homeless and dealing with mental illnesses but are cast aside as useless. But regardless, every one displaying respect should receive it. Great message.
You're right, Ella F L Robinson. It really is unfortunate 🙁 That's exactly why we want to raise awareness. We're so glad you enjoyed the video! 🤗💜
What’s also makes me mad is the fact that America protects corporations. That’s how they stay rich.
They would rather protect corporations than tax them more and help small businesses and pay workers higher wage
@@robert2690 Yep. That has always been the norm and I don't see that changing because the higher ups will always find ways to stay on top in control.
Doesn't America give pension to its Veterans? In India here, they are given full pension benefits. I felt so bad for the man.
Thank you for your service, and i'm sorry for the loss you had to face
This was so heart touching ❤️ I salute all those who fought in the war and who are serving their country right now ..happy new year to all ..
What a beautiful story. As a member of a military family i thank you for honoring our vets!
this is by far the best you've done. Thank you to our Veterans wherever they are from the US, UK, Canada, Australia. Thank you!
I'm really glad to hear that you liked it!
WOW! I'm glad you liked it this much. Thank you!
I have watched this for soooo many times. Everytime the Veteran introduces himself, i feel goosebumps. I love this episode sòoo much.🥰🥰🥰God bless you, dramatizeme. I love you this big.
Thank you for watching us! Your comment is so moving and inspiring. We love you! Big hug from Ukraine.
I love how the two veterans saluted each other regardless of their former ranks in the army and regardless if the main guy never stated his previous rank
He does mention he was a captain in the 101st Airborne but yes, mutual respect was definitely in this clip. I'm glad you liked it.
Thank you so much for the veterans, past, present, and future. We owe a debt to all of these/those great men and women in this glory we all share.
i almost didnt watch all of this video because of the disrespect the others showed the elderly man, but im glad i did. the disrespect that people dish out to our veterans makes me so angry that i just want to punch them. my father was a veteran & he was push down the steps of a bus & broke his arm but that person was charged & chastised by the judge for being so horrible
We're sorry to hear that, Tracy. Thank you so much for sharing it with us 🤗
That person was just cruel demonic evil mean and rude and low down dirty heathen skunk because God does not like ugly and that is why God took care of that situation the way that he did how is your dad doing right now?
I will be keeping you and your dad in our prayers Tracy
@@paulahendersonsawyer582 dad passed away not long after the assault
Dang I would push him too if I had the chance
This video does honor to the 101st Airborne Division that fought in Normandy, Bastogne, Hamburger Hill, Panama, and is currently stationed in Romania. Thank you soldiers of the 101st for your service and continuing the legacy. Thank you DramatizeMe for such great writing and the homage. This is a great TH-cam channel.
I was with the 101st twice in my military career
@@darienbrown1852 I thank you for your service. You must have some stories. Keep safe.
This is the best story! I just thought it was like one of the normal stories but thank you for spreading awareness for veterans who get made fun of. ❤️
We are so glad you enjoyed it, winny! ☺💜
Respect to veterans
Thank you for your service
It is simple message to crazy people out there if you can't respect than atleast don't insult.
Just love all these videos
DramatizeMe love you guys you whole team deserves Award.
Such a great honor and salute to all the veteran to serve and fought to their countries. Salute to all veterans
I was in tears. The guys that came back from Vietnam were treated very very badly. They went to fight for us and then when they came home nobody had any use for them. Makes me sick to think about it
Veterans don’t deserve to be treated like this! Their the reason why you are still alive to this day!
I'm literally crying while watching.... 😭😭
So disrespect towards the people who are saving from the enemies nd sacrifices there whole hearted life's for all of us
Oh man that was so wonderful to watch. Huge respect for war veterans who live and die for their country. Men with honor, integrity and respect. However, a lot of countrymen take the freedom for granted without a relization of a soldier's suffering and sacrifices they made for them.
I got chills when both men introduced themselves. This intro was so badass.
You're so right, Trina. Thanks for watching!!! 😊💜

Just when I thought you guys ended the film without knowing if Mr. Peterson ever got his medal back. This was wonderful
And to think that the pawnshop guy gave the Lt. 50 bucks for nothing. It serves him right. 😂
My heart is breaking as I watch a man treated so poorly . No matter what how can we treat others with such disrespect .
This is why you should never do anything against a veteran. I myself am also a war veteran. I served in the army for 23 years I was attached to the 583rd infantry division. I am proud to have served in the United States army. So here's my question to all who see this post.have you thanked a veteran for his/her service?if not, you should.
Thank you for your service, sir!
I don’t thank anyone.
No one thanks me for keeping your house warm
This story tore me up to pieces 😢
How rude of the men to treat an elderly that way, vet or not, they deserve respect.
To all who have served and serving our country... Thank you all and may God bless you all 🙏🙏🙏
That brought tears to my eyes veterans should Always be treated with the upmost Respect
Agree 100%. We should thank them for being able to follow orders blindly to the teeth even when they are sent to a war they had no business beiing in.
Made me tearful too. "Thankyou for your Service" lost my dad he was killed aged 31, missed him all my life!! I was only 8 years old then, many years ago!
people need to realize how much veterans have gone through.
"It takes one to know one." Mistreatment of our war veterans, no matter who or where they are brings tears to my eyes. Please be nice to them.
Thank yall all for your Service God bless yall all
I am not even in your country, but I have so much respect for your military men and women, including those who are ex military, I salute you all, my grandfather was a desert rat during the war and he served alongside a lot of American military men and women, that respect still lives on in this grandchild and will carry on until my days are over.

@@DramatizeMe You are very welcome.
I couldn't help my tears fallen for this episode.

Right pawn shop guy always play bad guy
Thank you to all those who have served.

Those people are disgusting narcissists. That veteran is very humble and doesn't deserve to be treated that way. Kudos for the vet shop keepers attention and empathy and encouragement.
