The only problem I have with Undercover Boss is that if this is the first time that people are seeing the face of a CEO, that is your first problem. I’ve been in organizations where I never seen the CEO once after years of employment, and other organizations where I saw and/or heard from the CEO no less than several times monthly. I can tell you that the cultural differences between such organizations is night and day in favor of the visible CEO’s.
That lady CEO has it in one very small sock, I love the way she handled the guy and the girl got the job. good point in the video clip. (Mississippi gulf Coast, USA).

It’s actually true that some places are more likely to hire a younger inexperienced person over an older experienced person. I watched a tv program (I think it was 20/20) years ago where they secretly taped interviews and younger people were hired over older ones. There is age discrimination at many places.
Yeah but people are not just hired based on experience...its whether or not they will fit in with their customers and the staff they have already, but yes this guy was out of line
This is awesome! Bravo, bravo, good acting. No HR rep in their right mind would say the things he said, even if they were true.
That's pure age discrimination!
I totally agree with you.
its pure racist
There is discrimination on all aspects of life. So what's new. But I will say, some that cry discrimination are not discriminated against . They just didn't get their way. It's so easy to say " discrimination "
Plus he called her honey!
Age - Weight - Complexion [Color White], amongst other discriminations⁉️
It will be the 511 Anniversary Celebration, of the Concoction of White People on October 29!
Exactly the same thing happened to me. I applied for a software developer role at BUPA health insurance. They stated that I was *well qualified* and experienced but their workforce is generally younger than me.
Tell the young salesperson to call this person and he calls the CEO and her cellphone rings.😊
I love that idea!
You GO GIRL😂😂 loving this
I was told several times “We want *recent* college graduates.”
That wasn't the company for you dear because you obviously gave them a strong interview but they were looking for individuals that they could push around, that they could take advantage of and obviously you we're not a pushover. Congratulations, you 👏 pulled the smart, strong, and capable card
If you are going to record a fake job interview, at least hire good actors.
This right here.
Louis was extremely rude.
Justice served. I love it! Something that is highly lacking in this day and age.
A perfect example of someone who believes that by the virtue of the position, and nothing more than that, they know everything necessary to know in their company.
This happens every day!
Great undercover CEO ❤❤ Angies discrimination is real! And what people don’t understand as older we get smarter we get! ❤ Because in life is a learning process… God blessing
Great speech!
The person playing Jane Everett is a great actor. I want to see more of her;
The only problem I have with Undercover Boss is that if this is the first time that people are seeing the face of a CEO, that is your first problem. I’ve been in organizations where I never seen the CEO once after years of employment, and other organizations where I saw and/or heard from the CEO no less than several times monthly. I can tell you that the cultural differences between such organizations is night and day in favor of the visible CEO’s.
He said “ I’m getting tired of this ( speaking with her)
Wow! That's amazing. Hope that all CEO is like that. God bless to everyone. ✌️🙏💖
That lady CEO has it in one very small sock, I love the way she handled the guy and the girl got the job. good point in the video clip. (Mississippi gulf Coast, USA).
It is absolutely true that this occurs, and unfortunately, this attitude is still going to continue.
Doesn't he know his company's CEO? 😂
I was thinking the same
Apparently not
Obviously not!
You never saw the show "Undercover Boss?"
No just for you guys to enjoy the clip.
This type of thinking is more prevalent than one would think. It's everywhere! One example is; The McD in my area will claim the position has just been filled when an older person inquiries about the job they have on their sign.
It is the quality of actions of one which shows how much capability he or she has!
Props to both actors for showing the exaggerated but accurate representation of retail life.
Jane was being age-shamed by the rude , disrespectful manager who was judging her by skin color and look. He doesn't even read the dossier about her, she might be an Undercover boss!!! Shooting down her ideas based off her age is too shocking, she can relate with both young and old. Her passion is still aflame, he will be fired really soon!!! Supermission Squad, you need to be kind and compassion even when interviewing!!! Get ready for your sacking, Louis, you made a big blunder!!!!
Although I agree with you, I don't feel it was a blunder. He SHOWED his true colors.
The Manager showed his true. colours and proved he has no empathy and no professionalism, especially as an interviewer.
Is this real ? I doubt it.
Got to bring up race huh. Typical
Nice content. It shows confidence and poise to define professionalism. It's not money but inclusivity and respect. God bless
It’s actually true that some places are more likely to hire a younger inexperienced person over an older experienced person. I watched a tv program (I think it was 20/20) years ago where they secretly taped interviews and younger people were hired over older ones. There is age discrimination at many places.
Ain't that the truth.
Compass Connections is one place that does this. If your over 45+ they will DO ANYTHING to push you out.
Yeah but people are not just hired based on experience...its whether or not they will fit in with their customers and the staff they have already, but yes this guy was out of line
My sister got hired somewhere
For all I know they may have turned down older people
I was interviewing with job experience…..
ACE was looking in a creepy sexist way, for a young cute saleswoman instead!
This is awesome! I wish that some companies would not reject potential employees because they don’t have that little square of paper in a fifty cent frame on their wall and would consider experience of a potential candidate - this in some instances could project ageism. Thank you for sharing this enlightening video.
That CEO should pick up on this woman’s ability to communicate. “You need to leave now” is code for I’m outclassed and can’t keep up with your reasoning.
Did you miss the title. She is the CEO undercover.
I have advocated for a tv show doing this in reality. HR people I believe would not hire their own bosses and if the resume hid actual company names with equivalent details I think it would truly be enlightening. I was asked recently what my last 2 years showed how I could do a job that I sent a lifetime doing. Amazing the lack of training HR people have
Wow this goes on and on
and it was at that moment- he knew he fucked up
😂🤣😂🤣
If two employees of a store conducted an argument in front of a customer, in real life she would probably walk out.
True, some would. But I wouldn't, since one of them is sticking up for me... Beautiful video!
Or stay for the 🎼🎶🎵🎤Entertainment😊❤
Am staying for the free suit
This was so satisfying even tho it’s a play but, this is actually real life in some places, amazing job!!
Discrimination against women and age😮
I believe it is age discrimination and racism.
Please, don't bring gender into this
Nice instructionvideo. Good show!
OMG Respect is earned?? WTF. I’ve heard this before and it’s crap and mean. Everyone deserves respect as a human being. Hope this is heard
How can he not know the CEO of the company he works for??
He must be a moron.
Dramatic story telling is not an undercover CEO story.
Be quiet
😂 obviously staged
Yeah agreed, this make believe sceanrio was just that indeed, totally make believe & without any credibility whatsoever!! It was so easy to see & hear that this stupid video was in fact totally rubbish with its gross over acting!! Who ever put it together is the bugger who needs to be fired forthwith! It's just a bloody joke & a pathetic one at that!!
FOLKS ARE WEIRD
yes, it is. but it is to tell a story that happens a lot in real life.
Experience in the subject matter and life experience are often ignored by younger people some of whom who believe they know best. I have met and known/know people like him.
She is awesome!!!
That conversation is priceless 👌
Once I was working as a secret shopper. And came across a men’s sale associate. He never judged my ability to pay for anything he showed me. He stared with a thousand plus caller suite and worked his was down to a five hundred dollar one. But my feeling we’re by the time he finished. I was think about selling my home wife and kids to buy. When I give the write up about him. The store give him a bonus for his work.
Lesson here! You never ever know when something is a test!
The guy is so prejudiced !
That is why you should treat everyone with respect, you're fire 🔥 😂😂
