Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

It’s amazing how Jimmy slid into these fake personas as easily as he did. He really was a master of conversation and deception. I love this show and I can’t bear to see it end…

I am currently rewatching BCS. I'm in episode 2 now.
Jimmy looks like a good guy. He even saved the twins out of death warrant eventhough he is scared for his own life.

Fantastic compilation. Jimmy was a master of deception. Watching this is both entertaining and bittersweet as it all ends on Monday. It’s been a awesome journey. Some well deserved Emmy’s better be coming their way.

What's funny is while getting Walt to go into details about his identity as Mr. Mayhew, Saul bonds with him by explicitly and casually dropping his real name. Considering his usual demeanor, especially what we see for years after this introductory scene, you'd think he's bullshitting.
But nope, he was behing honest.

One does not simply kill off such a lovable and colorful legion of characters efficiently residing in a single humble body.
4:21 ngl it's heartbreaking rewatching this now seeing how Jimmy and Kim ended up. Regardless of what their characters have done, Odenkirk and Seehorn have really good chemistry as Jimmy and Kim

This goes to show how valuable Bob’s sketch comedy experience was to the show. It made Better Call Saul a million times better.

You left out the first time he was shown using the Saul Goodman moniker, when he did the Rolex scam with Marco back in Cicero.
As good as Jimmy is at weaving stories for him to *slip* into, he unfortunately wrote himself into a corner that he can't get out.
He might need to Deus Ex Machina his way out of his mistake...but can he?
Less likely. I think it would be a fitting end to the story if he were to get caught. I mean Walter's died in his own hands, Jesse is free, it would be great storywise if Jimmy is arrested to complete the trilogy of endings
