When i worked at a video store we required ppl ssn to sign up for memberships and ppl used to tell me its was illegal for me to ASK them for their SSN. I would have to tell them its not illegal for me to ask for anything. Are you wondering what ppl would argue about asking someone something is illegal? Video store types are my kind of people. Did you ever have someone bring back a movie cause it was "foreign and captioned?" We had to put big yellow stickers that said "captioned!" on those. The funny part is that a lot of them had no idea what "captioned" meant, so they'd still return them. After they'd been burned the first time, they'd always take a wide berth past the "foreign" section, giving it suspicious glares. I WAS in Virginia at the time...but that always drove me batty.

As the former owner of a retail apparel Business. I had to tolerate Daily abuse! People are out of control. Expecting treatment that goes beyond my normal duty to them. They ruined me, I hate being around them when I'm shopping, so I'm now almost 💯 online shopping and I stay home more and more. The world is crazy these days
When i was 17 working my first part time job (had been working there for 2 years by this occasion) i was watching self scan, a customer tried to purchase a FULL basket of cadbury chocolate blocks, they were on special ofc, the limit was twelve per customer per transaction, he didnt like this, 40 ish year old man throws the basket onto the floor and storms out so we all got to share damaged goods we couldnt cell (only a couple i swears)
I used to work with people who had been institutionalized because they were too mentally unstable to go to jail. Every time a male patient freaked out, the first thing they did was to strip naked. Every single time.

They're doing the whole "I'm not touching you" sibling thing. Covid is also why she stops the dad from going after the camera guy. She doesn't want him to get close, and that's why she shoves him away.
