Our new home: Housing on Camp Pendleton

Here is a little tour of our new house on base! Our neighborhood is so quiet and family-friendly; we can't wait to make new memories in this house. The holidays are coming up, and we are excited to film some fun videos for ya'll.

To live on base/post is a privilege. In California, it's a huge blessing due to the cost of off-base housing.

I was an 0352 TOW gunner stationed at Los Flores at Camp Pendleton from 1984 to 1988. At that time 1st Tank Battalion was based at Los Flores. I was single and spent my entire 4 years in open squad bays or onboard ship (2 West-Pac floats). I did have several married friends who lived in the base housing and when I'd visit them I'd always think, "they need to condemn these shacks and build some decent housing for enlisted marines." Looks like they've finally done that. Nice place folks. Semper Fidelis.

I miss our home in WM2!!! The house we had was soooo big so we ended up moving out but it’s the biggest home we lived in on base.
