My Son Graduated High School last friday and was Gone by Monday (yesterday) 6/12 I been so sad i miss him so much .. I pray he makes it through his dream is to be a Marine ...
Don't worry. He will make you proud. He has a lot of brothers with him! My son is currently serving as well. Camp Hansen Okinawa. He graduated High school last year. Semper Fi and welcome to the family.
Wow. It has changed quite a bit. I was stationed in 12/14 area from 95-99. Downtown Oceanside was kinda of a dump then but they revitalized it in the early 2000s. We used to play pick-up roller hockey games in the band shell next to the pier, then go swimming in the ocean to cool off. Great times!!!
My son is at Lejeune now but we were hoping he'd get Pendleton and the west coast even though we're east coast people. Pendleton area looks really cool.
I was lucky to spend 2 years here and 2 years in Okinawa, I had to run all the time to burn off the calories there was so much good food, be careful running out in the wilderness behind the barracks I almost stumbled into a live fire exercise once hahaha
I totally would but I haven’t been posting much lately. If I start back up I’ll do a video on Camp Lejuene. I was never stationed their but I’m sure I could get all the info online.
Both my son and I were stationed at Camp Pendleton. Me: 7th Eng 1st FSSG. 84'. My son: MCT '23. He is now serving at Camp Hansen Okinawa. Me: 9th Eng 3rd FSSG '83-84. My son, 7th Comm Btn. '23 OOORRRAAAHHHH!
I’m sure he’s having the time of his life. The Marine Corps isn’t easy but it’s always worth it and the memories last forever. Hope you get to see him soon :)
@@northcountysandiegoliving7385 This May 16th will be a year since he started bootcamp. He spent some time in MRP for a hip fracture. He just messaged me saying he and 6 other guys out of 300 were meritoriously promoted to Lance Corporal :-) I'm so proud of him.
Ah, just watched your Vista video too. What time of day do you typically hear the munitions from the base? Arrowhead looks nice, but not sure my wife will enjoy the sounds of freedom that close by. Thanks for serving!!
Thanks! I usually hear the artillery rounds later in the afternoon and night. Couldn’t give you a specific time. Arrowwood is a great community but I see what you’re saying.
Hello American heroes it is I Lisa happy new year. and I want to bring a new revamped World at our door. I give you my pledge as an American born citizen that I have gained momentum during the course of this Counter-city strategy. Nobody knows what struggles bring about all they know is their empty headed head, criminals, scavengers. All for the throphy based on the honors, not for a weird well done. My grandfather served the civil war during the 18:50"s. He was taped and the townspeople were at the main square delegating their life. He was a dark complected Bun., but he made a difference. I don't care what these severe dregs say I love this country and I earned the privilge it is nobody but me, not anyone else. I"d like to protect the gain.
I’ve never had an issue with the traffic in San Diego. As long as you pick the right times to be in the road you won’t have a problem and I’ve lived in San Diego my whole life. The people are awesome!
Hello!!! You did not mention the SoCal hot, bodacious friendly bebe bunnies to meet daily. I know what you are going to say, but they are an integral part of Camp Pendleton's off-base society.
Awww I miss Camp Pendleton so much. Thank you for this video.
Glad it brought back good memories!

Expect everything to be unaffordable if you’re lower enlisted
I lived in San Clemente first time at CamPen. Camp Horno. Easy commute.
Have fun!
You should do a video on camp Lejeune I haven’t seen a whole lot of videos of the base
