Aquatics -Lamine Yamal is great, but there is someone greater coming up. The name, - Aya Adams. Some superstars were made from Heaven. Yes Lamine Yamal who is Spain’s 17-year-old is a sensational footballer, but so is Aya Adams in Swimming. At age 8, she is already breaking records for the 8 and under Girls Category in Ugandan Swimming.
She’s the rising star coming from the Genesis of a club in Aqua Akii who are grooming the next young Ugandan Swimmers. Aya Adams is the revolutionary talent that is going to break records left, right and center in Ugandan Swimming for the next couple of years to come.
In her 25m butterfly she swims with 14 strokes to the wall and about an average of 22 arm strokes in the same distance with the freestyle, to make matters worse for her opponents, she does this banger banger style, without breathing 😮‍💨 Isn’t that extraordinary for someone whose just 8?!
For the Girls Under 8 category in Ugandan Swimming, Aya Adams holds the record in 25m backstroke with a time of 19.75secs, 17.59secs in the 25m butterfly and 16.78secs in the 25m freestyle events. That is Dynamite! She is yet to dominate and have Africa and the World at her feet in the next few years to come. Remember the Name!
