Its heartwarming to see her getting emotional over Hammond grief, being her favorite character. The funny part is that Spielberg made Hammond more gentle and sympathetic in the movie on purpose, since in the book he is openly obsessed, selfish, greedy and lost on his own world. Spielberg projected himself in the Hammond character and saw him as "the dreamer" comparing the act of building the park as the act of doing a movie, painting a more dubious and child like Hammond. There is absolutely nothing that makes me like a person more than seeing them be super passionate about something they like to the extent that they can pick out insanely small details that I never would have seen otherwise. Korone nerding out over Jurassic Park is a perfect example of this.
She really has an eye for little details. Especially subtle characterization moments where small, seemingly meaningless actions help signal to the viewer what sort of person each character is and what part they will play in the larger story.
I was lucky enough to watch Jurassic Park during its opening weekend back in 1993. It was one of the defining moments of my childhood, and was one of the reasons I got into reviewing when I was older. Now I just wish I had someone as cool and observant as Korone to watch it with back then; cute doggo persona aside, you can tell that she's quite analytical and well-versed in film. And Jurassic Park is one of those films that transcends language barriers.
It's actually kind of refreshing to see someone who has reference for, and appreciation for, all the movies and games that people my age grew up with. Like, come on, when are you gonna hear someone bust out a fuckin' Dino Crisis reference? Never. And from the names of horror movies and stuff she drops, it's pretty clear she as a person has a passion for this stuff, which is more than a lot of people out there just faking it or just reacting to stuff they don't care about because people tell them to. So yeah, good job random dog girl. Stay cool.

Korone's love for Jurassic Park is really adorable, i vibe with her excitement whenever watching this film when she said it's lonely when it ended, it hits me how accurate it is. That's how great this movie is it took you back to a time where you feel everything is right with the world, so when it ended, it felt like you woke up from a very nice dream.
This made me sad, weirdly enough, because she's right about Hammond-- you can tell by Richard Attenborough's facial expressions that he knows he fucked up, and that he's indirectly responsible for these peoples' deaths. Of course, by the time they decided to have multiple theme parks and even a camp in a park where carnivorous dinosaurs have been eating people pretty much since Day 1, it's hard to keep having sympathy for InGen.
Jurassic World 1 and 2 (and JP3) only make sense if we take them as non-canon or as a remake or something. The details like the Jurassic Park hat being called, "poor taste" and finding the old Visitor's Center are cool, but just make the plot completely non-sensical when you think about their inclusion too much.
"A camp in a park where carnivorous dinosaurs have been eating people pretty much since day 1"? Other than the original Jurassic Park incident, the Jurassic World park hasn't really had major incidents like that. It's so great how much this movie blends CGI with animatronics for the dinosaurs. They can do a lot of fluid movement in one take and then drop the grainy texture and look twice as real in the next. Even with how old this CGI is you think there's something really there hunting down the protagonists.
Honestly, I totally get it. This is exactly how I am when watching a movie I love. Just appreciating the actors, musical cues, little details, everything. Her appreciation for it all is so genuine.
The CGI and Animatronic work, to this day, is still some of the best ever done in film. There's just nothing like it. Additionally, I find it funny that she brings up Dino Crisis. I was too young to remember all the hype around this film but I had the chance to discover it in the cinema and be totally traumatized by it. Since then, I have loved dinosaurs and it is one of my favorite movies of all time.🥰
I gotta agree that the dinos in this are amazing..especially like with the baby raptor and the Triceratops when they use physical models and practical effects to make them..when everything is just CG you don't get a real feel for it and it makes it more difficult on the actors to..well..ACT like they are interacting with something that is there.
Can we take a moment to talk about her loving this movie so much that she's legit crying while watching it because it's just that good? Doggo really knows how to appreciate a masterpiece.
@colten bennion Dude, come on. Yeah, there were suits and animatronics and a giant upper half of a T-Rex. There was also the "Welcome to Jurassic Park" scene with a ton of all CG Dinos, multiple full-CG shots of a T-Rex running straight at camera, an extended tracking shot of a full-CG Gallimimus herd rushing past our main cast, the Brontosauruses (if that's not the correct species, I apologize) in the misty distance, and the grand finale of the full-CG T-Rex fighting the full-CG Raptor pack, leading up to the full-CG T-Rex doing it's "when dinosaurs ruled the Earth" victory scream. I'm certain there's more I'm forgetting. Additionally, there's also a bunch of what you mentioned: "little bits of cgi here and there to accentuate the practical effects." I'd say all of that justifies the statement "There's tons of CGI in Jurassic Park.", because there is. Boiling it down to "seven minutes" of computer effects is a little disingenuous, seeing as how a very large portion of this movie is dinosaur-free to begin with.

Seeing people remember Dino Crisis always warms my heart
Me: mr speilburg I’m from the future. And I have a message about the future.
Speilburg: what what is it? Are we gonna be flying in space? Or maybe ending world hunger?
Me: no its that a random dog girl persona is gonna be watching and loving your film with several viewers live
Speilburg: ?
Me: yup that’s out timeline my guy
The biggest surprise is Korone knowing what Dino Crisis is. I don't think even Capcom knows what that is anymore.
*"ojiisan" does anything*
Koronechan: I love that!
It's a shame this vod is lost to time now. It'd be nice to be able to go back and watch Jurassic Park with past Korone.
It's archived at hololivevideos.download/channel/inugamikorone , the title is【同時視聴】名作『ジュラシックパーク(1993年)』をころねと見るだけ【戌神ころね/ホロライブ】
I didn't even know this happened, and now I'm wanting a full translated commentary video so I can watch the movie alongside her :)
Still watching. Still gold even if short
Grant's seatbelts were a metaphor... I watched the movies a dozen times at least and never noticed.
seeing the cute doggo gushing over one of my all time favorite movies really made my day
YubiYubi Park
Now *this* is hard-hitting, in-depth film analysis!
4:05 Asacoco kicks in, rap god comes out.
I could watch just hours of Koro geeking out over western movies and media (as well as adorable oji-sans)
Wow, I wonder how many times she has seen this movie? lol
This is too pure
so cute to see korone always so happy and always puts up that 8D face
I still can't believe it's actually jurassic park what she's watching , like , it's not a Japanese film or something like that , it's *JURASSIC PARK!*
And the fact that she *loves* that movie so much it's not only wholesome , but is also telling me she knows what a good movie is , she is a Doggo of culture indeed.
Guess we could say...She's a..."Clever Girl".
