The action pieces are great, and Toomes is still one of the best MCU villains. That twist with him being Liz's father was genius. Still one of my favorite MCU movies to this day!
I agree. Rewatching this made me realize just how surprisingly hilarious and clever this movie is. Almost every scene has a "punchline" that is delivered naturally, and every scene transition is done in a funny or unique way. One example, instead of just cutting to show peter sitting in detention, they show the humorous clip of captain america on the TV. It also has some of the best action scenes in the MCU ever, the fights feel almost as snappy and frenetic as into the spiderverse. I forgot just how genuinely funny marvel movies used to be. Homecoming's always such a joy to watch and it's great to see how well written the comedy is that even people from half-way across the globe can still laugh at the jokes.

I dont think Kevin Feige even knew about the Vulture in Morbius. It seems as though the Sony-verse is a canonically gray area in relation to the MCU. I wish Sony would just stop before they ruin any more characters, especially when its pretty clear that theyre going to royally screw up Kraven's debut. I'm also worried that their meddling might impact Spiderverse, since they were pretty hands-off about that since it was a "cartoon", but its success may make them get more involved.

My hope is that that whole thing just gets ignored/retconned. I have no idea why Sony is so insistent on doing the Sinister Six without Spider-Man. Their whole point is to kill Spider-Man, I don't think anyone is interested in seeing them without him. It's just a bit annoying, because chances are we're getting more Holland Spider-Man films, and these Sony movies are wasting characters and stories that could be used for them.
