Yeah, he's pretty good. So was that perfesser fella. All kidding aside, Neil Peart was probably my favorite drummer of all time. But these guys are nailing their instruments. Singer's darn good and better the more I listen.
I know Rush is known as a "prog rock" band, but their first couple of albums kick some serious rock and roll butt...glad you're doing a deep dive. And this is an amazing mash-up!
awesome. thank you. ...it feels so good to watch videos like this and see other RUSH fans and read the comments. You sir are amazing...i loved your medley. i wish i had a friend who would enjoy this as much as me.. i dont have any friends who are fans so it sucks for me. i have no one to talk with about RUSH.
Had to come here to listen and watch again after hearing the news of Patty leaving the band. You're not gonna hear a better cover of these songs, probably ever. Tim expands on the immortal Geddy bass parts--love the improv on By-Tor! Mike plays Neil as well as anyone now living. Billy really nails the Alex vibe. And Patty really brought a great youthful Geddy energy, with the added plus of being a woman! I love everything about this. I sure hope their next singer does this well. This is fire!
I was at this show, front row. When Patty came out in that dress, instead of just a band t-shirt, you knew it was pro recording time. Several videographers were all over the whole concert. Big Time Billy, Big Time at The Sherman! Second appearance by high fan demand!
Just what I needed to HEAR!!! I played bass in a band in high school and we did a whole side of 2112. People loved it. Patty added the icing on the cake! Band is awesome!
Oh my goodness! This is an absolutely amazing band. The fucking bassist is amazing. I dont want to leave anyone out, it actually took me a few tries to write this comment. Fuck it they just rule!
I haven't had pleasure in music this much for many years and the lyrics are reasonably parent-friendly in reference to their originals. I posted the above comment, not even realizing I already posted, hahaha!
These 3 are as tight and talented as any musicians playing out there now on any level, and perhaps more so...and pattis vocals are just fantastic... I hope they get their recognition someday soon....
She’s the spark that ignites the soon to be blown up status for this band! Incredibly entertaining stage presence, charismatic to the max. I love the “bass forward” mix when it is appropriately called for! Tim fills the mix more than capably on top of Billy’s and Mike’s flawless play. What else can you ask for? This mix and balance is perfect!
Sick. LOVE the early stuff; busted out the Les Paul. Nice medley. Simply stellar as usual. Visit Pittsburgh, please. btw I have always thought the outro of By-Tor is genius
Onwards and upwards. Rush were unique, their music and legacy is safe and treated with the upmost care and respect by the talented musicians that are YYNOT. Patty is beyond belief good ❤. Takes me back to the first time that I put a brand new copy of 'All The World's A Stage' onto my record player way back in the 70's.
As much as I liked Rocky's voice, Patty is the Final component that perfectly completes The YYNOT GeFilter Machine. Absolute quality Musicians and Music...
I honestly can’t believe how good these guys and gal are! Seriously these covers are as good or even better than the originals. It’s great to have these folks carrying on the musical legacy of Rush. We live in a magical age where talented musicians can reach audiences in ways never before possible. Despite everything going crazy wrong in the world, nobody can argue that our technology is amazingly positive.
As a lifelong RUSH fanatic, what's even more mind blowing than what you said, is that a woman is saying it!! God bless you for joining the insane devoted masses of the most loyal and appreciative fans music has ever known!!
Seriously complicated and fascinating music. I’ve listened to the originals countless times ( on 8-track tape for those who know what that was ) these YYNOT covers are so incredibly good 👍
Many years ago, when Geddy was struggling hitting the high notes in concert, I told my good friend that it would be cool if Rush would have had a woman perform with them to just help with the early material and high notes. Low and behold, I was blown away after seeing YYNOT in Detroit back in '19. Not only is the musicianship stellar, but hearing some of the early Rush tunes sung like Geddy from back in the day (and before I ever first saw them live myself on the Presto tour) was a real treat!
Awesome job! I love this band...as a tribute you not only sound like Rush, but you play all the complex and theme-based compositions. I've heard you do many of the abstract songs as well. Patty was the perfect replacement for Rocky, but hearing Patty screech like 1974/1975 Dirk takes you to a whole new level. It's priceless! Now, please...PLEASE schedule a gig in Norfolk or Virginia Beach!!! Can't wait to see you. Oh, and your originals are superb too!
I seen Rush 13 times. Every tour from Moving Pictures. I don't remember much but one of my first favorites from Rush was By-Tor and I don't recall if they even did it live after Moving Pictures. This was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She’s fucking unbelievably good.
Patty was what this band needed. I can’t wait for new recordings with her at the mic. What a voice!
Voice great. Is late coming in several times She can be lazy at times
she quit
@@ericoboe 😮 Really?
Dang, that drummer is awesome.
Yeah, he's pretty good. So was that perfesser fella.
All kidding aside, Neil Peart was probably my favorite drummer of all time. But these guys are nailing their instruments. Singer's darn good and better the more I listen.
Fantastic!!! Patty has brought this to another level.
Patty's taking her vocals to another level now. So fun to see. By-Tor gave me goosebumps. Well done YYNOT!
I've known this band for 4videos now..they are my new favorite band.Jeeeze they're tight.
I know Rush is known as a "prog rock" band, but their first couple of albums kick some serious rock and roll butt...glad you're doing a deep dive. And this is an amazing mash-up!
The bass player on his Rick 4001 + twin Ampeg SVT towers sounds RIGHTEOUSLY like Geddy Lee playing himself. I LOVE that thunder..
That Rick sounds very fat. Takes chops to follow G. Lee.
I listen to this daily .
Patty is definitely this band's secret weapon. I've seen a LOT of Rush covers on youtube and many are very good but she pwns them ALL.
That just took me back to when I was 12 and got a copy of ATWAS.
That's awesome...
By Tor and the Snow Dog in a sparkly black dress - this is surely heaven on earth?! Brilliant stuff.
Amazing. Patty 👏👏👏👏👏 Greetings from Uruguay.
Listening on my phone without headphones and that bass is GROWLING 😃
This is just smokin'.
Killed it all the way around. Nice work on the drums.
awesome. thank you. ...it feels so good to watch videos like this and see other RUSH fans and read the comments. Amazing as always By-Tor was spot on.
RUSH!
Feel it.
Play it.
Be it.
Nobody does them better than YYNOT.
Nice classy dress Patty is wearing! 😍

When I pick up the pieces of my blown mind I may be able to appropriately comment, but for now...just wow. Fuuuuucckkk wow!
WoW! Unbelievably well done. Everyone in this band is quite impressive. Come to Cincinnati.
Yup, Patty is a keeper.
Just what I needed to HEAR!!! I played bass in a band in high school and we did a whole side of 2112. People loved it. Patty added the icing on the cake! Band is awesome!
Wow, can't get enough of watcning YYN, well done guys & gal.
Tim, I'm really digging that compressed, not-so-snappy tone you're using! Gives the song more balls! Cheers!
I've yet to hear a better Rush tribute band. None even come close to this. Please try to get a gig at Summerfest in Milwaukee WI! PLEASE!!!
Awesome! YYNOT live 2022 is really something else.
Especially when if you were at the show
Patty fits perfectly, this band is a total succes!
The guitar sounds enormous!
He’s amazing
Oh my goodness! This is an absolutely amazing band. The fucking bassist is amazing. I dont want to leave anyone out, it actually took me a few tries to write this comment. Fuck it they just rule!

Gave me goose pumps!! You rock guys. Come to Toronto!
I haven't had pleasure in music this much for many years and the lyrics are reasonably parent-friendly in reference to their originals.
I posted the above comment, not even realizing I already posted, hahaha!
I love this band, they honor Rush as not only the band but as it’s own genre unto itself. Cheers, y’all!
You are awesome. Vocals guitar bass and drums do justice. I love it all.
These 3 are as tight and talented as any musicians playing out there now on any level, and perhaps more so...and pattis vocals are just fantastic... I hope they get their recognition someday soon....
Watching this & other bands like the rush project makes me realize how much I miss seeing them. 19x from Hemispheres to R40
Of for goodness sake! This is awesome! Thank you for keeping this wonderful music alive!!
Awesome sound. Lead singer Patty has some pipes.
Sounds so good! 👏 👏 👏 👏

Im sure they must like them
Perfection!
As much as I liked Rocky's voice, Patty is the Final component that perfectly completes The YYNOT GeFilter Machine. Absolute quality Musicians and Music...
FREAKING AWESOME!! SHE SOUNDS GREAT & THIS BAND KILLS IT!!👊👊👊💯💯💯
Wonderful! So glad to see such talent keeping the Rush flame burning bright. A melody of the highest quality!

This was very impressive.

Holy crap.
You looks to have a lot of fun on scene. I see you on concert for sure.. great band thanks
Patty! Amazing vocals, improved from first show! Rocky who? Love Rocky!💘
Love Patty and Rocky will always remain in my heart.
They all make it look easy, which it ain't but they are sure having fun. Patty's new album also rocks, btw.
Tim’s tone is quite close to the real deal recording circa 1981, and the transcription of the solo is fantastic.
You guys are awesome! 🤘
Hands down! No one does it better than you all. I can't wait to see you all live. Phenomenal work.
This is way more than I thought I was getting into
And I want more
Just discovered this channel -- you guys are fantastic. Would love to hear you do some of the later songs, especially "Time Stands Still."
