So I just moved to Tampa from central Illinois, I have a little experience saltwater fishing over the past few months but from sitting on a bucket on my paddle board, I was wondering if you recommend a pedal drive kayak to start or a trolling motor, thanks, love the vids!

Rich, I have the older Power Queen Premium 100Ah in my kayak powering a MotorGuide. I love it and I'm a big fan of their batteries. You got the Premium II, but is there any reason you did not go with the Power Queen 100ah they have listed as Trolling Motor?

word of advice on lithium batteries, beware of overcharging them if they are connected to the suzuki's alternator, i have met the president of a major battery manufacturer (who has a big yacht and refuses to use lithium batteries on it because of this reason), they can heat up if overcharged and catch on fire, i don't have my lithium batteries connected to my honda outboard for this reason, i use a regular heavy lead/acid marine cranking battery for it and periodically plug in and charge the lithiums for the trolling motor@@FishAholicTV
