    Guys PLEASE WHEN YOU DO THIS EXCERSIZE: Do it as slowly as possible and go as far as you can every single set until you start to feel it in your upper abs each time. When you start to go up slowly exhale deeply. Once you go back to the bottom, you can take a quick breath in. This helps get the air out of your lower ab area so that you can focus targeting the upper group. After just one week I have seen more progress with this technique than before.

      Very good advise, time under tension is what break and tears the muscle apart something I’ve been practicing in all my workouts. Listen to this guys advise, stay well.

      haha no kidding! I go back and do this workout from time to time and every time I do I can barely get through it. Must have been the adrenaline with the camera going haha. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the workout!

    Just Finished doing it..feeling a nice burn now...
    As Always Good workout.....
    I am now on a calory deficit and I have been seeing rapid gains in my abs after doing your workouts..But I am loosing muscle...In 1 week I lost more than 3/4th of an inch from my arm even though I am working out..
    What should I do??

      Eating in a Very slight deficit somewhere like a 300 to 700 deficit. Try to eat 1 gram of protein per 1 kg of bodyweight. Of you do this you will lose body fat and gain muscle at the same time

      You can't gain muscle in a calorie deficit (well you can but barely noticeable) because your body uses your muscle as energy as your not giving it enough nutrients so it eats away at it, instead aim for a calorie surplus, I used to have the same issue :(

      Hey, thanks for watching! You sort of hit it on the head with your comment. If you’re in a caloric deficit + are eating clean (avoiding processed foods, sugars, etc) + focusing on abs workouts, then it’s likely that your abs will come through and show results. However, if you’re looking to put on mass then you need to consume more calories and mix up your workouts (lifting heavy, more time under tension, etc) so you don’t plateau. You can still get those abs to show up without being in a caloric deficit, but you need to limit sugars and processed foods while eating / consuming more lean protein and carbs that keep you satiated longer. It’s a fine balance and no two bodies are the same. Experiment with your diet and vary your lifts then track your progress to see what works and what doesn’t for you. Hope that helps.

      depends on your goals. If it's to lose body fat then I recommend our 6 week shred th-cam.com/play/PL2NpXBzdtNam-M_8y6FFypSf7ae8Ph4_6.html. This program, combined with a good diet, making sure you remain in a caloric deficit, is excellent for getting your body summer ready.
      You can also do that series, but lift heavier weights, slow down your reps adding more pauses and holds, to work on muscle mass. If you're going this route then you'll want to be in a caloric surplus to put on more muscle mass.

      Hey bro. Adding ab workouts to your daily routine will definitely help you to build muscle and definition in your abs. To lose / cut fat you'll need to maintain a caloric deficit diet and get down to around 12-14% body fat. An effective way to do this is by adding cardio and HIIT/TABATA style workouts to your weekly routine and again, eat less calories than you burn in a day.

      Hey Ezra. Nice job doing these workouts! You're young, so my best advice for you is to create a consistent workout schedule and stick to it. Results will last and your body will respond more to the workouts if you remain consistent. The other thing that makes all the difference when it comes to abs are your diet. Abs "show up" when your body fat is low. If abs are your goal then eat less calories than you burn in a day. This will help you to reduce the amount of body fat that you have and will make your abs show much more.

      It depends on how hard you train them at one time. But 5 min abs are something you could do 5-6x per week no problem. You don't need that much recovery time for short workouts like this.

      Depends on many things, but the most important is reducing body fat % so your abs become visible. You do that through a caloric deficit. Make sure you’re exercising and concentrating on your nutrition.

    I have been trying to get abs now for a while and they are starting to develop but one of my top abs is missing. I cant see it at all and the ab under that is extra big trying to make up for it. Anyone know anything?

      Hey there! Sorry, I don't have much insight as to what might be going on. If it's not painful then I wouldn't worry about it too much. It could develop over time. If you're really skinny then it's possible that could be the cause and you could look to put on a little weight to see if that makes a difference. However, if it hurts then I would highly recommend seeing a doctor.
