    Just started SNG's (knockouts) after about 4 months of studying/playing micro cash games..
    Been on a downswing and have always enjoyed 3-6 max SNG's, and I think it's easier to play than cash games so far, more exploitation and information in play.
    I started with $300 and played mostly NL2 NL5, and am down to $200. I've heard from a few poker pros that said they lost so much money in the early years because they weren't focused, studying and didn't stick with a solid game they enjoy and can beat.. I don't gamble or anything, so I don't plan on losing in the long run.
    How long do you recommend playing/studying (winning or losing) a specific game-type before you try to beat another game?

    Have a SNG tournament soon watching this right before it. There is literally no compelling reason for you to do this for us, but you have a separate little isolated room and take out your time and put in the efforts (as subtle as pulling ICMizer when you can scroll away ) to throw value regardless, for free. Sending blessings your way Tripple J, from across the world

    Are SNG’s still profitable? I play microstakes and recently started playing SNG’s on the weekend. I’ve found the games to be very soft. Do you think this is just a good run of tables? I know you’ve mentioned before that they’re not that profitable anymore. Does it apply to microstakes?

      Yes, especially at the small/mid stakes.

    Is It Common to find players more tight as you Go up money buy-in levels on SnG? I usually find more 5$ tables with players that only play AK+ than 1$ tables, which both helps and stops me from grinding, since when they dont play many hands, you get little value from good hands and by the 6 blind level, everyone Just shoves constantly making any play somewhat difficult

    What poker sites currently have rake back?

    • @PokerCoaching
      @PokerCoaching  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Pretty much all of them have some form of rakeback or a VIP program that acts as rakeback.

    Thank you for this one of a kind free content,in my stakes people will call jams with these junky broadways
    especially if they have a substantial chip lead. I was not expecting having to slow down with medium pairs that would be a positive flip.

    No way am I calling off with the a8s. Can't assume he's pushing 100% and even if he is we have the 97o fish to our right who will probably bust in 4th.

    What does a sit n go mean exactly?

    • @PokerCoaching
      @PokerCoaching  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      A single table tournament, usually 9-handed, where 1st gets 50% of the money, 2nd gets 30% of the money, and 3rd gets 20% of the money.

    • @PokerCoaching

      Only a little. The same is not played at the high levels anymore, making it difficult to make substantial money.

    lately ive been playing with opponents who just never fold and hit their bogus hand on the river. so frustrating

    • @PokerCoaching
      @PokerCoaching  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fortunately they will not always hit their bogus river. Volume cures variance.
