This video is propaganda. The fact is, is that they abuse their children. You can’t deny that these people, especially the children, are trapped in an unfortunate situation and need to someday get help. It’s extraordinarily sad.

I went to the Yellow Deli in Pulaski, TN. A few months later I see 2 guys recruiting in my hometown of Florence, AL trying to get young people to come work in their restaurant that they owned. The walkers stopped me and my best friend on the street and propositioned us with their literature. We just kept walking, but I hate to see them in a college town preying on students and kids who feel lonely.

    • @jilliansmith3919
      @jilliansmith3919 3 ปีที่แล้ว +6

So they’re propositioning people here in Florence? That’s where I live and grew up not far from Pulaski. This scares me they’re on our streets here! Most likely trained to scope out the ones who look broken and lonely. I have wanted to go over there to the Pulaski location for the longest but now? Nah...I’m good. 😐

I'm also contemplating going to the 12 tribes because I'm totally dead. I'm done with society. it's over. that's why society is death. that's the truth. I understand it in every cell of my being. there needs to be alternatives to society. there needs to be places where people can live and express their talents and farm and garden and cook and build and have their needs met every day. and society just doesn't do that. a real society would give everyone the opportunity every day to do what they're good at and give them training if they need training. at the 12 tribes you have a place to live food to eat and you have to do your part and work and be socially part of everybody interacting and then you get everything for free you get a place to live and food whereas in society I have spent an enormous amount of money on supporting myself to have good food and feel comfortable living. and then when the money runs out there's really no compassion that's where the 12 tribes comes in. it's very possible that the 12 tribes is the Divine compassion to answer people who want something to do everyday something to be part of people to be part of in love instead of churning in the death mechanically loud society. I mean can you imagine being part of people and being able to play music every day and just do your best there there's so much opportunity to share your heart and have friends whereas in the death society there is no possibility of having a good meal with good people or playing music with people every night and making friends and building friendships. the society has accomplished its goal which is to kill the souls and to annihilate all kind of love and joy and romances into annihilate all kind of happy gatherings and festivals of joyous memories of food and music playing . and that's where the 12 tribes comes in. You just kind of have to be humble and play by their rules and use their language and be a good human being and overcome the parts of yourself or myself where I tear down my opportunities or have sabotage and I just need to overcome those with the love.

Those who would so willingly sacrifice their love of truth at the altar of institutionalised conformity are entering into a very dark place, regardless of how sanitised an image an institution endeavours to project. The young man who wanted to join, by his own admission, had no idea about the doctrine taught by this group, he was quite simply caught in an emotional thrall generated by their lifestyle and culture. In such matters it is crucial to exercise due diligence by thoroughly researching any institution claiming to speak in the name of Elohim, of being his people, or of having received an anointing from him; especially when so much is at stake! Our emotions are easily corrupted, but a love of truth based on the word of Elohim will protect us from becoming ensnared by those who claim to be Elohim's people yet cannot manifest what is necessary to authenticate such a claim; namely, a clear and unambiguous manifestation of Ruwach haQadosh! However, not enough space here to go into that. This group seems sincere enough, but remember, as a rule, image and substance are inversely proportional, in that those who strive to project a sanitised image generally have more to hide.

They may have not intended this to be a pro 12 tribes doc but it kind of comes off like that do to a lack of questioning about what exactly are their religious beliefs and requirements if you join. The 12 tribes are a cult make no mistake about it.
My narcissist brother tried to get me to join and kept encouraging me to visit one of their compounds before I knew anything about them. I pretty much ignored him and one of his favorite things was "the man gets all the final decisions" in a marriage. This of course was after his divorce and his wife having enough of his BS.
He invited me to a Further Fest concert and insisted afterwards I visit the12 tribes bus and ship in the parking lot afterwards. The third time he told me to do this I just said I have to go see you later as I was tired and just wanted to go home. Only years later did it hit me this ahole was trying to get me to join a cult.
He eventually tried to join himself after years of saying he was going to do it because at that point he had nothing going on in his life. He even flew out to San Diego to join that branch. I guess he wanted a warm weather cult experience. They wouldn't have him because I'm assuming he wanted to be mid level cult management instead of a newbie who did what he was told. As a narcissist he couldn't abide and they told him to leave. His version was they had a misunderstanding. Life sure is strange.

      1) Yes you can leave but sometimes it comes at a great cost. People have to start their lives over again and are often ostracized from the group or cut off from family still in, depending on the way they exit.
      2)From what I hear and have observed yes, you can handle your kids, but other adults will too :}
      3) During the gatherings, topics are discussed and it seems you can offer insight and interpretation. However to question certain doctrines of the group or to openly express you disbelieve in a part of their teachings could earn you a rebuke. I dont know if you would be kicked out for publically stating that you disagree or disbelieve with a certain teaching.
4)They believe that God created races(Hamite teaching) and that African or Negroid people are to be subservient to the other races if they are to earn their place in the next world. Once they join the communities however it seems that they are deemed equal.
These are my observations from asking and observing the twelve tribes communities in Georgia. They were fairly friendly except one or two times when I told them them I wasnt ready to join and some of the members started being pushy about the need to give up my life with expediancy and without question as that is true faith according to them.(Plenty of people with faith have questions just that their faith leads them to look beyond at the moment).

Where does ALL the money from the restaurant go? The people don’t get any of it. They don’t get tips so what’s the point of tipping? They all live together simply and don’t have much worldly things or independence or anything of their own. I have heard many things that make me never want to or feel the need to join anything like this. I can follow Jesus/ yeshua without a cult thank you. I think people join because they are seeking a relationship with Jesus Christ just like anyone seeking in this world. When you find him you stop seeking a need for anything else. You don’t need this community to make a covenant with. Only your marriage and relationship to God and Jesus Christ. Strangely at the yellow deli , I did feel very close to Jesus and the Holy Spirit greatly humbled me. But i wouldn’t join.

My goodness, some of these comments are disgusting. From what I've researched they seem to be endeavoring to simply follow the Bible in a very traditional way. It's how many people have lived for thousands of years right up into the early 20th century. To me, there's nothing wrong with that. I may not agree with some of their doctrinal points, but overall a life following Biblical principal is way better than one filled with moral depravity. And to those that are disgusted that children are apart of it, did not your own parents raise you in their own religion? It's a common thing. Yes they use corporal punishment. This is because corporal punishment is mentioned in the Bible and has been used for literally thousands of years, likely since the beginning of man. Just because it's gone out of style in our lifetime doesn't mean that it is "abuse", especially if its administered in a loving way. Yes, they do have their controversies (as with any other religion), and their critics and disgruntled ex members (again as with any other religion). And I agree, they are extreme by modern day societal standards. But in general I see no evil here. Overall, they seem much more noble than the average laymen of our day.

I was under the impression that the true name of god was considered too holy to be spoken and thus everyone kinda forgot how to speak it so folk just randomly decided it somehow meant said "Jehovah" even though thats not even close to Yhwh. Could be wrong though, thats just what i learned when i did my research on Jehovahs Witnesses when they tried to convert me to their cult last year. They got embarassingly close because I was in a pit of despair when they darkened my door and was looking for community and acceptance - but I had to check that my bisexual, non virginal tattooed ass would find that in their religion so I did a bit of research first. So glad I did. Not only would I NOT be accepted for more than just the reasons I listed above...but also they're bonkers and even the name they have for god is fucking wrong so very glad i dodged that bullet.

While in the Twelve tribes I learned that their cause was Noble about bringing about a spotless bride that Christ will return for by the raising up of the 144,000 pure male men that's in Revelation chapter 7, and Ephesians 5:24-26, however while there I experienced several times their lack of obedience to the way Christ taught how to forgive in Luke 17: 4 while trying to repent myself they would not forgive me despite the fact that Christ command in this verse that " if a brother sins against seven times day and says I repent you shall forgive them." When I brought this up they told me that.. "We can't forgive someone if they just say I repent because if we did sin would enter the church" I was sent away as a result of trying to repent after I gave up everything like so many others, so if one considers what the Bible says over man, I'll pick the Bible any day, as Christ said you will know them by their furit, and Christ commanded His disciples to obey everything He taught, is it no wonder than that like Chrstainity many in the last days will not endure sound doctrine but will put up for themselves teachers according to their own desires as the book of Timothy says. For what it's worth it is my belief that the road to salvation is a narrow way that few find because few are willing to obey everything He commanded mainly due to reasoning, or adding and taking away from the words of the gospel but at the same time which is forbidden according to Dueteromony 4:2 and Proverbs 30:-5-6, holding to a form or structure of obedience but denieing the power of the Holy Spirit that's only given to those who fully obey as Acts 5 verse 32 and 1 Timothy 6:3 and Acts 3:22-23 makes abundantly clear. Without full obedience one is deceived into thinking their saved and this danger is grevious since it says in 1 John If we claim to know Him and obey Him not then we are lairs and the truth is not in them, this great level of deception was warned about when Christ warned.. "Watch out... for many will come in my name and deceive many. "

Check it--The Twelve Tribes is like a football field. You can have lots of things on a football field--Graduation ceremony, half time band show, etc. Now, what is supposed to happen on the football field is that the good guys win. Root for the home team. So, you can't say the group itself is good or bad. It is a MEDIUM where stuff plays out. I myself was a proud member of the 12 Tribes for 6 years, and then some corrupt people in the community ostracized me. The sad thing is that such ones gained so much power among the earnest disciples. Obviously, they don't know what they are doing, but I can't excuse it either. I served the God of Heaven all I could there for 6 years. Now, it's on to the next thing. I am a drifter on this earth just like Jacob or King David.

    A letter from the Apostle
Shaul to the Disciples in the Twelve Tribes Communities...
1Shaul, an apostle-sent not from men
nor by a man, but by Yahshua Ha' Mashiach and God the Father, who
raised him from the dead- and all the brothers and sisters with me,
To the churches in the Twelve Tribes Communities:
3Grace and peace to you from God our
Father and the Messiah Yahshua, who gave himself for our sins to
rescue us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God
and Father, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
    No Other Gospel
6 I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting the one who
called you to live in the grace of Messiah and are turning to a
different gospel- 7 which is really no gospel at all. Evidently
some people are throwing you into confusion and are trying to pervert
the gospel of Messiah. 8 But even if we or an angel from heaven
should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let
them be under God’s curse! 9 As we have already said, so now I say
again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you
accepted, let them be under God’s curse!
10 Am I now trying to win the approval
of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people? If I
were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of
    Messiah.
    Shaul Called by God
11 I want you to know, brothers and
sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. 12 I did
not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received
it by revelation from Yahshua Ha' Mashiach.
13 For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how
intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it. 14
I was advancing in Judaism beyond many of my own age among my people
and was extremely zealous for the traditions of my fathers. 15 But
when God, who set me apart from my mother’s womb and called me by
his grace, was pleased 16 to reveal his Son in me so that I might
preach him among the Gentiles, my immediate response was not to
consult any human being. 17 I did not go up to Jerusalem to see those
who were apostles before I was, but I went into Arabia. Later I
    returned to Damascus.
18 Then after three years, I went up to Jerusalem to get acquainted
with Cephas and stayed with him fifteen days. 19 I saw none of the
other apostles-only James, the Lord’s brother. 20 I assure you
before God that what I am writing you is no lie.
21 Then I went to Syria and Cilicia. 22 I was personally unknown to
the churches of Judea that are in Christ. 23 They only heard the
report: “The man who formerly persecuted us is now preaching the
faith he once tried to destroy.” 24 And they praised God because of
    me.
    Paul Accepted by the
    Apostles
2Then after fourteen years, I went up again to Jerusalem, this
time with Barnabas. I took Titus along also. I went in response to a
revelation and, meeting privately with those esteemed as leaders, I
presented to them the gospel that I preach among the Gentiles. I
wanted to be sure I was not running and had not been running my race
in vain. Yet not even Titus, who was with me, was compelled to be
circumcised, even though he was a Greek. This matter arose because
some false believers had infiltrated our ranks to spy on the freedom
we have in Yahshua Ha' Mashiach and to make us slaves. We did not
give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might
    be preserved for you.
6As for those who were held in high esteem-whatever they were makes
no difference to me; God does not show favoritism-they added
nothing to my message. 7On the contrary, they recognized that I had
been entrusted with the task of preaching the gospel to the
uncircumcised, just as Peter had been to the circumcised. 8 For God,
who was at work in Peter as an apostle to the circumcised, was also
at work in me as an apostle to the Gentiles. 9James, Cephas and John,
those esteemed as pillars, gave me and Barnabas the right hand of
fellowship when they recognized the grace given to me. They agreed
that we should go to the Gentiles, and they to the circumcised. 10
All they asked was that we should continue to remember the poor, the
very thing I had been eager to do all along.
    Paul Opposes Cephas
    11 When
Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood
condemned. 12 For before certain men came from James, he used to
eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back
and separate himself from the Gentiles because he was afraid of
those who belonged to the circumcision group (natural seed). 13 The
other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy
    even Barnabas was led astray.
14 When I saw that they were not acting
in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of
them all, “You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like
a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish
    customs?
    15 “We who
are Jews by birth and not sinful Gentiles know that a person is not
justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Yahshua Ha'
Mashiach. So we, too, have put our faith in Yahshua Ha' Mashiach that
we may be justified by faith in Messiah and not by the works
of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be
    justified.
    17“But if,
in seeking to be justified in Messiah, we Jews find ourselves also
among the sinners, doesn’t that mean that Messiah promotes sin?
Absolutely not! If I rebuild what I destroyed, then I really would be
    a lawbreaker.
19“For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for
God. I have been crucified with Messiah and I no longer live, but
Messiah lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by
faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for
me. I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could
be gained through the law, Messiah died for nothing!”
    Faith or Works of the
    Law
3You foolish disciples of the Twelve Tribes! Who has bewitched you?
Before your very eyes Yahshua Ha' Mashiach was clearly portrayed as
crucified. I would like to learn just one thing from you: Did you
receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by believing what
you heard? 3 Are you so foolish? After beginning by means
of the Spirit, are you now trying to finish by means of the flesh?
Have you experienced so much in vain-if it really was in vain?
5 So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles
among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you
heard? 6 So also Abraham “believed God, and it was credited to
    him as righteousness.”
7 Understand, then, that those who have faith are children of
Abraham. (natural or spiritual) 8 Scripture foresaw that God would
justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in
advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.” 9
So those who rely on faith are blessed along with Abraham, the man of
    faith.
10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it
is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do
everything written in the Book of the Law.” 11 Clearly no one
who relies on the law is justified before God, because “the
righteous will live by faith.” 12 The law is not based on
faith; on the contrary, it says, “The person who does these
things will live by them.”(living by the LAW) 13 Messiah
redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for
it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.” 14 He
redeemed us in order that the blessing given to Abraham might come to
the Gentiles through Yahshua Ha' Mashiach, so that by faith we might
receive the promise of the Spirit.

You people are so easily manipulated by the media and in light of the fact that was a fictional b grade horror film I really have to wonder if you have any reasoning capacity at all. There is a great and vital difference between what you see in a fictional drama and the reality of life. Also have you ever considered the power of mass media and how few people control that system? What kind of things they might see to do with that power? Do you understand that entertainment is a form of propaganda? Why are communes and self sustainable religious communities so vilified in the entertainment industry?
