    In cult:1. No Freedom Of Choice
    2. Mind Control
    3. Sever Relationships On Outside
    4. Strict Control/Harsh Style Raising Children
    5. Never Think "About Self" And Always About Others
    6. No Spiritual Autonomy

    Enjoying your videos. Our stories are strikingly similar. As a single brother for ten years, the community worked me to exhaustion. I was a zombie from lack of sleep. I never had time to even trim my nails for 6 months at a time.

      Yeah. Single brothers got it hard! Literally no time for yourself. That ain't normal, and it DEFINITELY isn't healthy!

    A friend left and his wife and his children stayed in the group. I would like to go and speak to her if that door opens (She doesn’t know me). Any suggestions of how to approach her? I am not expecting her to leave with me, but if I could plant some seeds to have her ponder…? Thank you!

    • @jillybeenz8699
      @jillybeenz8699  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmmm. a tricky situation. I would be very careful. I'm sure she has very clear instructions about the situation, perhaps was told to not talk to him etc ... So if you come out strong you'll probably be rejected. Have him write a letter you can give to her? Remember their beliefs go far past relationships, and I'm sure it's not easy for her or the children. Be gentle, plan your approach, and plant seeds of love. not guilt, pressure,etc. That's a hard situation for everyone. Lemme know how it goes if it happens 🙏🏽

    My cousin just got married the weekend before last in the community. My uncle her father and mother have lived with them three separate times. She was 16 i think the last time they went back in and have been there 9 years now.
    I pray so much that she will not be able to raise her children the way they want, I hope she will never be able to hit her children. I pray they will be able to break free both fo them.
    He was a hiker so he didn't grow up there and maybe there is a chance they could mame it out.

    Hey Jilly it's Tony AKA Nathaniel as you know I was also forced out as you know. The group told my children that I wanted to leave but they split us up and pushed me out . I now have my two oldest boys and I see how messed up they are . I'm glad to be gone but sad that my family is ripped apart but I also would never go back.

    I left a different bible based cult back in 2011 ish. I still struggle calling it a cult, and I remember reason #1 being huge. If you want to go to college? ask an elder. You want to buy a truck? ask an elder. Want to talk to your parents that don't really agree? talk to an elder. etc etc.

    No playing with toys for the children? That's brain and creative stimulation. What do the children do if they can't play? That's an extremely important part of human development.

      They use the children as free labor. Ex-members say they remember being put to work at the age of 5. Alone. No supervision. The cult has lost contracts with corporations due to this practice.

    I was there a little more than 8 years. Tribe of Yoceph. I was known as Labeshu lev Yeled. I did learn a lot of things that was good for me, but I saw corruption in leadership. I had a revelation we had always been under the law. 2 Cor 3:9 Paul explains that the law is the ministry that brings about judgment. Those who have been apart of them know about the Kahal meetings. (judgement meeting). As Paul explained the law was given to judge the evil in us. But explained in Roman 7 that the very command that was intended to give him life, actually put him to death. "I found that the very commandment that was intended to bring me life, actually brought death." Rom 7:10 He explains just before that the command that said "do not covet" actually stirred up every covetous desire within him.. I experienced this there at the community. I learned from Yahshua's teachings, about the new covenant that would not be like the first one. The new covenant brought the command "do not judge". Get this!; He also commanded them Mathew 20:25 "you have heard how the gentiles have rulers that lord it over them. And their governors have authority over them. But this shall not be with you. Instead, whoever wants to be great among you must be a servant of all." "Just as the son of man did not come to be served, but to serve. This new way of the spirit, is explained in Galatians 5 as the ministry of freedom. Love can only be given, if you have the choice to give it.

      Freak accidents...When i was in the group "rumor had it" that several people who had left died suddenly in strange ways. I don't remember anything specific, nor would I share as it's all rumor. I think these things were passed around to instill fear of leaving. Like we would be judged. Out of "our father's" hands.

      But yes. The material is quite influencial and can touch the void in people. They have ways to rope people in. It's just not the whole story they tell. I don't know if they go out nowadays, but there's many ways they "evangelize", used to go out often to shows and events to grab people's attention. The goal is to find "lost sheep". But people don't need all the answers from people claiming to know God, they need to find God within and find the source that exists within us all ☺️
      *in my opinion ☺️

    I recently had dinner with the 12 tribes group in Manitou Springs Colorado, they run the mate factor restaurant there. They were interesting 🤔. They seemed to love Yahweh, just didn't talk about Jesus. I thought leaving our mediator out of the conversation and the songs we sang was a bit startling, for me. Left me questioning.....strange to stumble upon this video. Seems He is bringing all things to light.

    They are very inflexible, trapped in the intellect. Like they have a fixed image of what they "should" look like but divorced from the spiritual reality of what faith could/would organically produce. I expected that the group would grow exponentially but I think they died on the vine, choosing the safety of rules instead of actually relying on the Holy Spirit.
    Hiding in the comfort of a fixed set of beliefs that choke out the life that should have spontaneously occurred. An over reliance on marketing to replenish the high turnover, instead of growing exponentially as a living organic spiritual movement.

    If the community's mindset was all about others before self, I'm interested to know how they taught prayer? Aren't we supposed to be self reflecting when we pray?

    • @jillybeenz8699
      @jillybeenz8699  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think I understand your question, I'd say when we prayed we are asking for insight for our hurtful ways and for YHWH to speak to us. There was a lot of repenting and self reflection, which I still value. Also praying about our rebellious ways against the teachings. Is that helpful? 🤔
