      Change doesn’t come overnight. Number of athletes and number of participation has increased a lot. Moreover, we Indians ourself just focus on cricket. There are so many exciting sports which should be given equal justice.       Guys...this time, Indian contingent can win upto 50 medals including 15 golds...according to some IOC officials. mostly due to initiatives of modi govt. But no coverage by our traitor media. as you know, support and cheering can boost moral and increase chances by upto 70%. but because of apathy of media and people, our athletes miight win just 5 medals instead of 50. such a shame. please share, and ask indians to cheer

    I remember when a sports journalist was literally shoving mike into his father's mouth asking 'how do you feel that our ministers have awarded Abhinav after his gold ?'
    He furiously answered 'who are they to give anything to my son.?... I am gifting a Rifle and a luxury hotel to him double the price of what these folks are awarding him?'
    Damn.....I loved this. Such a tight slap to manifest the galvanizing of minimal infrastructure with lucrative prize money in our nation.

    It really does help when money matters are not an issue for an individual. We are lucky to have him and such supportive parents. Not many people are so keen on investing their hard earned money in something that the government should take care of essentially. The parents had the best interests for their kid and he performed both for himself and for the country. Kudos !

    We waited for years as a nation to witness this historic day!! What a rally at the finals.. Was in Std 4, when Athens took place and Maj Rathore won Silver, but I felt very bad for Abhinav Bindra.. What a comeback at Beijing!!
