Credit to Bindra - he certainly has been a great representative of the sport. I would encourage anyone interested in the inner game of shooting to read his book "Shot at History".
❤️
"At the End of the Day, it all boils down to Dedication, Determination and Hard Work" ~ Thank you Abhinav and I agree.
Because of these kind of shooters I will be playing district level championship next month.
@Ragnar Lothbrok For competition:
with adjustable alu rifle stock, approx 1200-1400 euro if you take a second hand rifle.
for a new air rifle it starts at approx 1800 euro
5 saal baad kaha ho

Sir your name as my 5th class lesson as GOLD MEDAL 🥇 Abhinav bindra....I'm very proud of you sir😊😊👍👍
lots of love from India! you are truly an inspiration 😇😇😇
❤️
You've always been inspiration to me. Thanks a lot sir. Now I changed my career to medicine. But I really miss my shooting days.
Why u change your carrier sir , have not any scope in this field
Hi Abhinav bindra ji ..u r such a rock person.. I m Poonam from Punjab. I m ur a fan ..I like ur shootings styles.. 👍👍.. Really its difficult bt u do it ..god bless you always and ur all family members always.. 🙏🤗🤗🤗🤗🙏
This guy revolutionized sports in India.
@Jm Gonzales
Because of him, sports got noticed bcz he was the first individual gold medalist in Olympics and got lots of media attention.
Since india is a developing country, parents give importance to study over sports but when they see winners like him, they got someone to idiolize.
So now everyone wants to bcm like him.
Also govt. has increased funding and private companies are endorsing athletes.
So the whole ecosystem has gone under tremendous make-shift changes
Because of Abinav I have spent 4-5 lakhs money on my son's training and rifle. Which is not easy for a middle class Indian.
I am happy to know parents like you really care about your children's dreams and aspirations, Thank you from my side for your efforts.
Sir actually it's almost impossible for a middle class to come in sports
His daddy owns a 300 crore company
So what problem for his dad to spend 10 crore on him
I'd love to hear an explanation of all the gear...the rifle...the sight...all that headgear...like, what parts do what and to what advantage?...and the "uniform"(?) What part does the "uniform" (please pardon my ignorance) play in the accuracy of the shot? Thanks...
Hey William! All the gear that you see a shooter using is helpful to either increase his stability or focus. The "uniform" is a specially custom made to suit the requirements of a shooter and comes in various qualities. It adds rigidness to the body and also supports the shooter in most vulnerable areas like the spine and knees. The rifles are extremely accurate and all the manufactures actually show you the original grouping of ten shots which basically look like a single shot (google this). They are fully customizable to fit the natural position of the shooter so that he does not have to fight the rifle in order to make it stay on the target, this happens automatically. There are two sights, fore and back sight. the back sight has a pinhole and the for sight has a glass ring in it with which you take aim. And my friend there are way to many aspects that cant be explained online but try to shoot with these professional weapons and gear at least once in a lifetime. Trust me ITS AWESOME. This comes from a national level Rifle shooter from india. If you really are interested i would suggest going to a local training facility and see for yourself how amazing and exiting shooting really is.
P.S. - REALLY GOOD STRESS BUSTER.
Uday...thanks so much for all that...yes...seems quite fascinating...maybe I will give it a try.
Bill Salopek No worries man. cheers
@santai sehatI can't speak for Uday Garg but thought I'd share, for smallbore I think the Anshutz 1903 is a good rifle that can compete well in club level events, and can always move up to the 54.30 if you want to take the competition more seriously. I personally started with air rifle using a Crossman challenger, then switched to an old FWB 150.
Did u tried..?how did u find it to be now..?@@Bill-NM
Well said, perfect execution of explanation. Also shooters remember to shoot with your eyes not with finger.
Abhinav Bindra why were you not there in Japan.? You were the first individual Indian to win a gold medal. Congrats we haven't forgotten you.
He's retired
He retired after 2016 rio olympics
Known as the Soorma of India, he made our national sport proud.
Hoisting the flag and the stick, the term Flicker Singh for him stands just right.
Soorma?......when?
Great interview. Very insightful.
Abhinav Sir! What a champion you are!! Take a bow!
@Ragnar Lothbrok bow also means respect brother
Sir, I love you... Am 35 and I still shoot my .22 you are my role model.
Your my inspiration I will be on this place one day
When I stop archery, this is where I'll go
You should do anatomy of a pole vaulter
+Ramen Thanks for your suggestion. We are working on many other "Anatomy Of" videos and will try to get a pole vaulter too.
yeet
You should do a Draw my Life for Mariyappan Thangavelu
Yes, I too want to see that
So there’s an anime “Rifle is Beautiful” and it brought me here.
Oh wow lol
Lol time to watch that anime, I'm actually an air rifle shooter too
Arky Sensei, I’ll look it up.
Thanks.
Sam Meng wow cool. Please give me your feedback.
I thought air rifle shooting is really unpopular cause in last year's Canadian nationals there are only 28 males competing and it's open to everyone. Surprised there is an anime made about it and schools actually have shooting clubs in Japan.
2008 really changed minds of Indian shooting
He made india proud
Golden boy
Proud of u sirjee
As being a pre national level shooter,I agree with the tips
After reading the comments I will be going to practice right now. I need some meditation
Me too same
Anatomy of an artistic gymnast, please
+Elisabetta Taccetti Thanks for the suggestion. As mentioned above, we have many others coming up. Gymnastics can be tricky as the different apparatus have different realities. Have you seen our Guide to Gymnastics playlist? th-cam.com/play/PL-292yfpAFGYJAoUjVK9QD13cNN5zTUt1.html
+Olympics Yes, it's awesome! thank you!

I wanna become a shooter. I will one day!
DARSHAN GH I hope so! I got started by searching for a local shooting range with a club there. I joined and now i'm part of it for about a year and a few months
Chim Plays
Good for you.
And thanks for the advice.
This is coming from a national level pistol shooter it takes work and dedication, but this is one of the most amazing sports there is.
My rule... No tripod....and BRASS. Breath, relax, aim, slack and squeeze. Works every time.
Larry 306 So true... my performance decreased when using a tripod when I practiced it
What if we put these guys into a one in the chamber match?
Type of rifle they are using... can anybody name it please..??
Theres many different rifles in this sport. My rifle is an Anschutz 8002s2, these Olympic guys would prob be using the same rifle or a Feinwekbau 800 alu or the Walther LG400
Walther Lg400 anatomic expert. I use the same
@@vijendersihag672 P800 X for me
*INDIAN INDIA*
anatomy of lacrosse player please!
Anatomy of a freestyle wrestler please
+Alan Sanon (Mockingjay) Wrestling isn't part of the Olympics anymore, right?
SamEEE12 They put wrestling back in. It would be dumb to take out one of the Olympics' original sports.
+Alan Sanon (Mockingjay) Hi and thanks for the comment. We will keep that in mind too. Cheers
Love you AB
Well have you seen Shiva keshvan's Olympic video no you haven't you only see the popular people his video just has 4 likes go like and cheer him on
Abhinav is the real hero..
Bahut hi badhiya laga jab aap gold jite.
ab rifle lene ke liye paise nahi h..... this game is not for middle class
that's a very amazing
and he is a graduate of Daharudin.
8 got that light skin stance
Sir, may i know what is the maximum age limit for a contestant to join Olympic air rifle?
There is no age limit here this sport is best of all. You just need concentration, focus and balance unlike other sports where you have to go under strenuous training sessions with age limitations. I started rifle shooting this year and I'm 24yrs old.
@@the_adventurershub from where, and how you started, I'm 20 years and I wana be a shooter but lack of equipments I can't started.
Please suggested me
Kateřina Emmons! :-)
They look like OVERWATCH characters😂😂😂
Gr8 bhai ji
Awesome
Nice
Lol Olympics youtube channel figured out what will get them the views 😂
There are NO former Olympic champions! It's preposterous and awful to read such things here, in the official IOC channel!
please explain
Can this event train me to become an elite assassin sniper? :3
Zshock soda not really, but it can help improve your shooting. Being a sniper and way different than this. You need a special training and just competing in this event wont get you as far
Join the armed forces
Not to mention the recoil. With recoil, stances would be different
💪💪💪💪
You're a great role model.
I’m sure this isn’t easy, but add wind, recoil and maybe 250m plus. Hit a target then.
These same guys also compete in 100m and 50m Smallbore rifle competitions, where wind is a major factor
recoil doesnt matter that much because you only shoot 1 shot at a time, more recoil =/= more badass
The targets in this vid are about the size of a half dollar. the dot in the middle is the size of lincon's eye on a penny. at 50m it goes up to a grapefruit with the bull being fist-sized and at 100m its a watermellon and the bull is still about the size of a baseball.
This is VERY different than your Basic training target practice.
I love abhinav bindra
hasta Año ciestuvieron heselente los juegos holipicos
megusta
Jhon Avendaño w
I am a state gamer of gun shooting
well done
❤️🤩❤️🤩🔥🔥❤️🤩
Is any age matters to learn shooting ?
Nitish bhardwaj No it is not, this just is one of the amazing things about our great sport
do people ever shoot back at them? who has the gold medal for air rifle while being shot at?
Some black dude I bet.
Good luck
I love guns so the standing shooting on this sport makes no sense to me. But i love to see it anyways. Great shooting!
I am also shooter
We are not talking about video games here...
i like you vai
Iam 26 year old. Can i became shooter? Iam from india.
Nope...too late
It's never too late, depending on hardwork and talent you might even go to the Olympics
@@sammeng2 the MQS (minimun qualification score) to particicate at olympic is not really high.

I could do just as good with my old squirrel gun.
DrewT65 is your “squirrel gun” accurate with in a 10th of a mm. If so I would love to know what model it is.
Benjamin Titan .22 cal break barrel. Skoal dip in my mouth and 40 yard squirrel head shots. Really don't know about this sport but it looks to me the target may be 10 yards. I play with them in target shooting as long as I can use my Benjamin. Don't need no horse blinds just need to use the artillery hold and I'll group the sumbitches in the bulls eye....
Hello sir
Thank you very very much
I shoot like this in my backyard...
Op
I dont understand why they make it seem hard (im ignorant as a friend recommended i watch this) they shoot at 10 yards, i know people with single pumps or break barrels .22s taking out rats and squirrels at 40 yards
Schizo Frenzia The 9 ring is 5.5mm in diameter at a distance of 10m. If you were to scale it up to a squire size target of around 120mm the distance to get an equivalent MOA would be around 220m. Most all of these shooters are capable of hitting the ten ring(0.5mm diameter) of every shot
@@nicholas811h idk man lol as a country hick like me i think id be more impressive if they were faster or hunting vermin. Im sure their own way is harder and they'd beat me at it though
Schizo Frenzia yeah I feel you. If you want fast precision try check out the stang shooters from Norway. But I’ve been smallbore and air rifle for a while now, so I got nothing but respect for these guy at the Olympic level.
@@nicholas811h i will check em out man thanks
In political science you have elites and the first individual gold in olympics goes to an elite named Bindra no Rana Jaspal , some times it seems that heaviest fixing takes place!
its the easiest thing we do here lol
Ye asli gun ni hoti kya 😂😂😂😂
In hindi
हिंदी में नहीं बोल सकते साहब ☹️
This is sad

अरे भाई जरा अपनी मातृ भाषा में भी बोल दिया करो

Everyone should understand
Pmsl ... just feking shoot ... if you hit, you hit ... if you don't then feking get over it.
These people are not athletes.
