      @@tarun1982 Indian government is not a media house that shows news that get more TRP, Indian government should fund sportsmen like him, since they of course know him because he's playing under India in Olympics for the sixth time. It's harder for public to notice every sports player because we know specific games due to our most plateau region geography. Games like lage are foreign to us, to some extend its our fault of course. But I wish we all Indians including the government and sports federation could've done better for him

    Till date I always use to think India should participate at Winter Olympics but today after hearing about Shiva I feel proud about what he has achieved. But also feel sad for the treatment he is getting from the Indian Sport Federation for his selfless act and duty towards the nation. I don't about others but Mr. Shiva from this day onwards you are one of the legend of Indian sports and I will make sure that my son always follow a similar path like you did. 🙏

      @@tarun1982 I understand your view but it will be very wrong to compare between different sports. Talking about Cricket India plays the maximum days in a year and has also won many titles similarly in Badminton so the fame usually comes after you win a title or make the headlines. Yes unfortunately there are many sports in India which do not get a lime light but we cannot blame other sports for that. The players, the federation play a key role in promoting the sport and creating a brand value. Sponsor will never approach you until you win big titles.

    what a pity that i came to know about him when i visited the Vishisht village in Manali . In front of his house is a congratulatory message regarding arjuna award. I searched him on net and came to know about him.

      I watched him at Pyongyang he was one of the two contingent from India ... He wasn't a medal hope but got me interested in the game ... Watched luge , figure skating biathlon skiing events curling ice hockey (not many games to watch but great atmosphere)...

    Today India just won gold in Javelin throw. I was so happy but after watching this video I think we didn't do justice to his efforts. I never heard about him until now. We need to think how can we get lots of Olympic golds if there is such bad situation and behavior of our sports federation.

    As Indians we only focus on Cricket, let's support other sports only then political leadership will do a better job in handling them.

    I feel so sad. Spending so much of money on the stupid IPLs but not even a single penny for the other sports. People only wake up before the Olympics and other international sports events. We have failed so many atheletes and sportspersons. Shame on all of us! 😓

    He is the only indian represent for our country in winter Olympics . Our country can't provide proper infrastructure for practice . It's quite dangerous to practice on indian roads . How rash driving and accident occurred in our indian roads.
