You CAN actually learn from their videos, especially if you actually log-in to Pianote. You can play, pause, and repeat sections. You can slow things down so you have the time to gain the memory. Don’t knock it until you try their program the way they recommend. Also, who starts trying to play a concerto with 0 piano experience? Start slow, start small and build. You can’t build a cathedral from the middle.
Great and first of all the the tutorial i've searched this is more understandable , i'm a total noob when it comes to reading notes and this is one of the best channel teaching how to read notes in the best possible way. i wanted to learn reading piano sheets not just playing the chords. great channel! godbless
You are really the best teacher, i love how you break it down so you can actually see the keys you are playing which is very helpful. Do you a learning center in NY?
lovely 🎶 it is not only a beautifull theme, it is valuable practicing exercise : hands separation, navigating across the keyboard, experimenting with timing and playing with nuances 🎹
Thank you for teaching this. I love the music. Feeling a little disappointed because I'm on my keyboard on my computer and I found out that I'm missing an octave for the song, but I liked learning and practicing with you anyway. Love you.
always amazing to see stuff like that 😂 .. i always wonder how they hit the right keys when they move their hand far to the left or right fast 😅😅 .. well done :D
Lisa's piano and my keyboard are tuned slightly off from each other, and that makes this so jarring!! (and I'm not sure I should mess with my kb's tuning just yet...)
I've been using Pianote for just under two weeks so far. I really enjoy it. I do wish it had a practice journal feature, and maybe some better social features. Though that really isn't important to actually learning (just helps with motivation). All the Pianote instructors are incredibly inspiring and offer loads of positive reinforcement. Looking forward to seeing my skill improve. Hopefully I can keep my daily practice streak going.
@@tcuster55, Yes, that is a handy feature. A practice journal, however, would be a way for me to document and share personal notes along my musical journey. Right now Pianote users are posting journals in the members forum. Clearly there is a demand for this feature. That's great, but it has several issues: Only Pianote members can see posts (it cannot be shared with friends or family to show progress), it does not support videos or recordings of a practice session, the formatting and metrics recorded are not consistent or useful, the journal notes get mixed in with comments from others, and there is no method (at least an easy one) to see how your progress has shaped you as a player. Something like this isn't really required for learning piano, but it seems like such a feature would be very good for the Pianote platform by: motivating students to continue practicing, promoting the brand to non-members via personal social networks, show student progress over time, inspire others learning the piano, share the joy of music with others, and make the platform more "sticky" with members more likely to renew memberships.
Thank you. Personally, I learn songs better when I know what key the song is in and what the chord sequence is in that key. I'm guessing this is in C but that G# makes me wonder if it's one of those borrowed notes or something (sorry if I sound ignorant, still kinda a beginner). How would you approach this song from a more "we are in the key of "X" and you can improvise using these chords"? I like to learn the song then make it my own but can only do this when I have a good understanding of the basic chord progressions knowing what key I'm playing in and any additions that compliment it. Love this channel btw!
This song is in the key of Am which is the relative minor of C. This means they share all the same notes (all the white notes). However, the G# comes from the E or E7 chord which is the fifth (V) of A. You could use the A Harmonic Minor scale to improvise and achieve the G# sound over the E chord. Some chords you can use in this key include Am, Bdim, C, Dm, E7, F, G, G#dim Just remember that the G#dim and E7 chords are borrowed from the harmonic minor scale!
@@jamesd2985 This quote, if it was ever said, means that you know the right note, but accidently hit something wrong. Thats very different from not knowing the right notes to begin with :)
Totally confusing. Why is this completely different to other tutorials. Did Beethoven have different versions? EDIT: I'm sorry i missed at the beginning where you say beginner friendly version
@InizioD yeh im new to piano and I am learning you have to be careful. Not only are there easy third party versions of popular tunes, but even the official version of fur elise, which you'd have thought would be one version published by Beethoven, differs from other versions. I've printed a couple and found differences and notice when people play odd notes from other versions. I'd say get official sheet music and learn the one you like most or that seems more popular.
@@SK-od6et Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I'm gonna use the most common one. It's not this one haha. Found another video that does the same. It's still confusing why teachers teach something quite different. Ah well... I just started playing the keyboard a few days ago. It's hard! Anyway, good luck with playing the piano! I hope you progress well :)
This a horrible explanation first of at least show the whole keyboard so someone new who doesn’t even know the notes can find which keys your even pressing especially since they all look the same
Great to see the attention to finger planning. This is a challenging piece for beginners, but can be rewarding.
Agreed. The finger planning sets pianote above all others.

Look at the play list feature, you can group any thing there like l essons or songs that you might want to practice together

How could I get the notations? please help 🙏
Can you give the coppy of the notes by any chance?

Ok. I have to ask this: Are you Snow White from "Once opon a time"?🤪
What about the other part of für elise
This so hard
Where is the sheet
How is this not Robyn???????????
Mam tell little di slowly
1:50 i always accidently played E instead of D
I actualy watched many tutorials to the song as i am learning it too. And Lisa is the only one i seen so far playing a D instead of the E 🤷♂

There are no wrong notes, just play with passion.
