Wow that's actually so sick. I think it's a decent progression! For me, I was actually aiming to buy the original '13 FRS but ended up with the '11 tC. And I think it was right for me at the time. I was a dumb kid, got arrested for street racing and that was just in the tC. If I was in an RWD at that time, I'm sure I would've made some fatal mistakes. So now, older and slightly smarter lol, I think the IS300 has been a great drivers car. And I get to truly appreciate it as that!
Love my tC even after 17 years, and the Sportcross is the perfect cruiser, and my mistakes are not buying a Eclipse GSX and Celica GT4 when they were cheap!
@thatgoddamnpotato3367 maaan a celica GT4 would be so fun. The tC holds up still! that thing can handle anything. We did a trip spontaneously from chicago to LA in it! I have a playlist on the 3 part video series I believe. I’d recommend checking that out!
Yo! That one hose with the liquid coming out is actually a coolant line. IMO it should be fine to remove nonetheless. If "too much" coolant comes out, just top the radiator reservoir with new coolant (Toyota Long Life coolant, colored red) and leave the radiator cap open and idle the car until the thermostat opens and then few minutes more! This way any air will find its way out of the system. Bonus tip for anyone considering doing the spark plug change: when the throttle body is removed, you might as well use some carb cleaner to clean the PCV valves/channels and the butterly flap while you're at it.
Hello, thanks for you video, it helps a lot. I just have a question, I didn't really understand what's the reference of the NGK sparks you bought? Sorry but I'm french, I didn't get well
I hate how much of a shit show they made changing spark plugs but doesn’t look too bad just shouldn’t be that much work good job thanks for the good content☝️
There are spark plug specific sockets I had in my kit. it has a rubber gasket at the end that holds the plug. You can find them at any auto parts store!
Thanks for watching! Glad this video helps. At 6:30, I would recommend getting angled pliers. I’ve done it again since this video and made a huge difference!
I'm randomly watching IS videos cause I am now the owner of an 02 IS Sportcross, but I own a 07 Scion tC since 06. I thought it was a fun coincidence.

the hero we needed. thanks for sharing awesome tips!
For someone who has only worked on suspension, this video helps a lot
That’s dope man, I’m glad it helps! Thanks for supporting!
How long can I expect to do this?
the first time around, probably 1.5 hours total. You get faster when you know where everything is after doing it a few times!
about to knock mine out right now, great vid you showed & explained well
Thanks man! Hope yours goes smooth!
My is300 is at 278k miles and running strong. Keep them maintained and they run forever.
this is true!
Just after I thought removing the oil filter was a pain god damn now the spark plugs :(
for real. literally nothing is simple on this car LOL
A youtuber and mechanic lol. Good shit dude. Hopefully no more problems with that motor after everything you've had to do with it
we do what we can until we can’t 😂 and thank you!! so far nothing, but i do need to do a suspension overhaul. i hear it creaking every so often
@DMRKing_ there's a shop out in Glendale Heights that does amazing work if you're looking for a place to go. Phenomenal work with really good pricing

Thanks for watching! Are you asking about the part number?
@@DMRKing_ yes, but i found it finally it’s okay 👌🏽
@alexcrnls720 Great! Thank you for supporting!
Did mine today not as hard as I thought broke a couple clips tho and I need a valve cover gasket change
Nice man! Hope this helped. Thanks for watching!
I hate how much of a shit show they made changing spark plugs but doesn’t look too bad just shouldn’t be that much work good job thanks for the good content☝️
thanks for watching! definitely the most unnecessarily annoying spark plug change haha
Ik this is old, but what socket did you use for the plugs?
There are spark plug specific sockets I had in my kit. it has a rubber gasket at the end that holds the plug. You can find them at any auto parts store!
Never seen a red 300. Is that stock or custom paint?
This is factory! Absolute Red is the colour name
I did my tune up on thanksgiving & now misfire on all cylinders ..I replaced my tps thinking it help & it did a lil but it still misfires everything
have you done sparks and coil packs?
@@DMRKing_ turns out I think k it actually might be fuel injectors or fuel filter
definitely could be injectors, i’d try those first
Nice run thorough. Going to be changing mine in the next few days and its good to know what I have to look forward to doing.
