I want to teach in Japan but family is really important to me and I would still like to see them still kinda often and when the seasons change I always get really sick so how do sick days work? sorry for all the questions
The hours here in Japan can get pretty long. I usually work 12-9, sometimes 10-7. And only 3 weeks of vacation for the whole year ... but it's like 3, 1 week vacations and they are fixed so you can't choose the time. And the thing that sucks about it, is that they are always on like national holiday weeks so like almost the entire country is off too so everything is uber packed >.
yea if you really like dealing with people and stuff, it's a good job... i'm kinda shy so sometimes I find it a little difficult to constantly have to talk to people but it def. is helping me become a little more comfortable
I work for an eikaiwa! I don't speak a lot of Japanese either but I do know basic stuff! I think it is important to study up a little bit before coming here, just so you aren't completely lost! People are very helpful here but they can't always speak English!

It depends on area. The apartment is a LeoPalace, so the price can range anywhere from $500-800 USD a month depending on where in Japan you're living. I lived in the same apartment my first year (and my company was not so nice to subsidize >_>) and my rent was around $700-$730 a month (can't remember).

It always surprises me to see plush toys in every single video about Japanese apartments... But I have come to a conclusion that these individuals feel so lonely in Japan that they like to get some plush toys they can hug (?). Can anybody explain this phenomena to me?
DanaPatriciaMary1 I'am 28 in the U.S and I still like toys lol in fact I collect funko pops yet feel embarrased of what others will think of me when they see them. so lucky them they get to collect plush or toys without others judging them. it's part of their culture. let me ask you do you still play video games? are u into star wars and collect things? Do you like Pokemon? maybe you even have a fidget spinner, drone, or rvc car.... it's the same thing except in Japan they have their own line of toys and collectables that adults enjoy too.
