I luv the one I have and I probably will put me a ranger nand on my handle to, it should save my skin and so of the rubber handle over the years. 3V is good stuff 🎖️ and I have my Trail Master in O1 , I would have and still do want a O1 steel Recon Scout because I also have two Gurkha Kukris in O1 tool steel.😊
I really like O1 tool steel,… it’s really good stuff. - I have the Trailmaster in Carbon V steel, the Recon Scout in Carbon V, and the SRK in Carbon V. They are great! I have an SRK in vg10 San Mai steel also. The cpm3v recon scout is pretty awesome. I’m glad I got one. - The Ranger band is a nice addition, I use the smaller one,… it’s 1 3/8” inner tube. It fits these handles nice & snug. 👍🏻

Yes it does, but it feels surprisingly light in the hand.
It balances very well , especially compared to the Trail Master which is 2" longer
