2. front end framework, Angular (toughest) or React (easier) or Vue (easy) (React being the most in demand and fast growing and most used in enterprise)

Should I go for web development or java+DSA
in the computer science field, you'll have to study DSA no matter what your specialization is.
Whereas Java is one of the high-level programming languages, you could instead do python, c++ or any other hlpl. To study dsa you'll need to first start with a hlpl.
Full stack also includes CI CD, Docker Kuberbetes and AWS now. Cloud is the key.

"Service Based" companies walo ka interview easy hota hai, to paise kam hi milenge....
"Product based" companies k interview tough hota hai, to paise bhi jada milte hain....
"MAANG/FAANG" jaisi companies k interview sabse tough hote hain, to unka pay bhi sabse achha hota hai...
Ye question hi wrong hai....
kisi ko jada ya kam nahi milta... apni apni aukaat k hisaab se milta hai sabko...
ye alag baat hai, kuch logo me aukaat hoti hai, but wo comfort zone me rahna pasand karte hain...
In most of the cases, agar switch nahi kiya, to product based jaisi companies me bhi salary growth bahut nahi hoti.... fir wo apne jaise "aukaat" wale logo se piche ho jata hai

Hi, I did exactly this switched from Product based to Service based and Service based to Product based, and also from QA (Selenium, Java) to backend development (Java, Spring, Hibernate) and vice versa.
It is possible, just understand basics of language and framework and create projects based on it. Wish you good luck 😊

I did it, I was in Manual QA domain in Infosys :(
Then I used an internal portal of Infy where you can do part time work in other projects, there I worked on React & Angular in free time, built a portfolio website to showcase my Frontend skills & started giving interviews.
I switched after just 1 year into a medium sized PURELY product-based company with decent package I rejected better packages cuz the work exposure here is far better. I'll work here for a year & then switch to the biggest product-based companies. That's my plan :)
PS. Make a proper plan, like where you wanna be exactly in 3 years & FIND OUT what you like (I realized I love frontend logic & design while I hate DSA lol).
Also, value the product + tech stack of the company more than the package they are offering (I went for 2-3 LPA lesser offering)

Always HR ask about current CTC. Then ask "what is your expectation". How would you handle that situation.? @technical suneja
That's where multiple offers play a role, get one job at 40% hike then get another job and say I'm looking for 20-30% hike on my other offer
Ask for 100% if u have good knowledge. In IT sector u can switch 2-4times of current CTC.

In IT company people will label you as a private IT employee(Whichever company you work with, you will have no respect and usually people won't consider you an engineer) In core company you can proudly call yourself an engineer and can proudly talk about the work you do during gettogethers, but what you will say working in private company? That whole day you spend on your screen and type #include, for loop while loop? People will never respect that kind of work. Sabh bhed bakri ki tarah IT me bhare hue hai, isliye core me jao or ek respectable life jiyo. What's the use of salary when there is no respect or thrill of working on core projects. Moreover there is no value of experience in IT, anybody can replace you anyday, but in Core the company respects the experience more and skill set you make never gets outdated.
