Agree with you on the group ride idea , Too much potential for carnage !! 😱 Always great to help out those in need so on that basis sometimes it is worth the calculated risk. Well done. 👍🙏😊
Hi Teacher T! I would like to ask you if you recommend this accessories for move back the rear suspension in order to low a little bit the tail of the super meteor as you show in your video (1:31) In colombia we're skeptic because we think that modifying that kind of things (the original design), its angles would end in serious damages of the bike. what was yours or friends experience with this device? Thanks a lot in advance!
Ha ha. Not really. Like you I have a few concerns. But I do plan to buy one and make a video about it. And get a closer look at the quality and materials used. 🙏
That's a wonderful thing you're all doing for those children. I gotta say group riding like that I haven't done in years. But fast or slow my late wife and I always enjoyed the ride. Even if depressing time is spent on that M25 in the UK 😂😂😂... Looking forward to the next vid 👍😊.
It was Royal Enfield North Thailand that sponsored it all. All credit should go to them. It was a very humbling day. The M25. Mmmmm. Pass 🙏 Hope you are still riding. Even if solo. All the best, and many thanks 🙏
@@Teacher-T-ThailandI’ve been out in a wee shower this morning to collect some bike cleaning materials. Currently I’m charging two 7.5v batteries for my heated vest. Readying myself for another wet & cold British winter 😂. Roll on spring 2025 as my holding to Cornwall is already booked and it’s a cruising collation 🤘. Stay safe you two…
I dont remember if you have ridden the interceptor. I am looking at getting a 650 in the.next couple of years. Price and weight are a concern but comfort is top on list. What are your thoughts?
Yes I have ridden and reviewed the Interceptor: Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 vs Interceptor 650: Which is BEST? th-cam.com/video/W7p32I2yz30/w-d-xo.html. It’s lighter than the Meteor, and more comfortable. There are some great second hand bargains to be had also. The only issue for me is the foot peg position for shorter riders. But there are kits available now to move them. Happy saving. Good luck. 🙏
Is there anywhere that it hasn't rained for ages in the world at the moment? The Hunter is a good choice for Mrs T. I like the grey and black one which is also a cheaper colour option.
She’s changed her mind now she’s seen the video 😂 she does look good on the Classic. As long as I can lower it with seat and suspension, and drop a bit of weight by removing the pillion seat, I think she’s sold on it 🙏
Vegas has been dry as a forest fire. Only fine desert dust. We have waited since May to enjoy day rides. I was getting out threw the summer by 5AM and back home by 7AM. We are still in the 100's during the day. I have never ridden in the rain once...only a cloud burst. I ride around Red Rock canyon. Google it...absolutely gorgeous. 2022 Himalayan
Well spotted. There are a lot of motorbikes on the road here daily. 95% are 150cc or under travelling at 50kph or less. To stop cars pulling out in front of you on a big bike, it’s always a good idea to have bright lights showing. To alert cars you are a big bike travelling at 90kph. It works 60% of the time, but not always sadly. You have to have fast reactions riding in Thailand. 🙏
I am confused because my RE dealer is telling me that doing a lot of the upgrades to the 650 engines that I see online are risking grenading because the engines are not tunable. But I find that hard to believe because so many people are doing everything to their engines. I would love to hop my SM up to 865cc with cam and free-flow exhaust and power commanders, but if they are in fact unable to be tuned then I might as well trade in the bike for something I can customize more.
Exhausts, air filters etc are easy, and self tune by idling the bike for 15 minutes. But big bore kits are a whole other story. It is possible, but easy to get wrong and carries high risk. Maybe better off trading in 🙏
@@Teacher-T-Thailand my dealer and some supposed mechanic in other videos and forums are trying to say that the 15 min auto tune is a myth. I would probably be happy with a high comp 650 engine and not doing the big bore but I need to confirm that I wont do destroy it if I do the full-exhaust, cam, clutch, exhaust.
@@au303 interesting. But everything is controlled by electronics. And one would think they control air and fuel mixture with all the sensors. And you can’t tune electronics 😂🙏
I apologize for the question, as it has nothing to do with the topic of the video, but what would be the monthly cost I would have to live where you live?
@@manueldiaspereira8347 What I earn here in a month, I could earn in a week in the UK. However, I save more and have a better lifestyle here. Especially the North of Thailand. Street food cooked meals still only £1, Accommodation £100 a month. You can live nicely on £1k a month 🙏
There is a low rider seat for the classic 350 from RE itself. 32mm reduction in seat height. There are also lowering shocks from TEC Bike parts. Not very expensive options, either of them.
