I offered to pay for the examination, pressure testing, and air filling unless it failed. Then it was on them. Worked out well for me, so you might try that.
I started with a hand pump and it wasn't fun to stop after 12-20 shots to refill them so I got used a ShoeBox compressor to fill a big carbon fiber tank tank that was a fire department surplus along with a quality gauge and hose. Still dang expensive to go even that route. Messing with the compressor and tank is why I just stopped shooting my PCP's. That and dealing with keeping moisture out of my tank. Earlier this year I started looking at these little portable compressors that run off either 110 or a car battery for 70-120 dollars. I was going to keep it simple and just get a small one but talked myself into a large portable that can fill small bottles and I might even top off my big tank with a little at a time. Hi, Unfortunately IMO, the only way to really enjoy PCPs is to have a compressor. I started down same road as you are now a couple years ago, lucky for me my budget is a bit high enough to get a compressor so I did and that is a game changer. I also after a period of time bought a carbon fiber bottle, only to find out my compressor would not fill it and i ruined my compressor trying to fill that bottle. It takes a lot higher out put compressor to fill tanks or you have to take the tank to a scuba or paint ball place to get filled, which I had neither close, so down one more rabbit hole, and I bought a daystate compressor that would fill the tanks. So moral of story to really get into PCPs it can be expensive, but once you have this stuff then your all set. You certainly are starting off the right way, buying a budget rifle to test the waters, certainly don’t get discouraged. I might have suggested I different rifle that is more hand pump friendly, an Umarex Notos is a great rifle, and way more hand pump friendly, but they are $275.00 ish. I do have several springers and PCPs and I enjoy them both, but you are correct with a springer, all you need is your rifle and a hand full of pellets and you good to go. PCPs however to take you to next level for power , accuracy at longer ranges, and multi shot capabilities especially with a couple extra mags, so you can shoot 30-40 times in the time I will take you to make 10 shots with your springers, so they both have advantages and disadvantages. To me the only downside of PCPs is the cost to get into, compressor, tank, etc. I did just subscribe to your channel, good luck with your shooting.
Your welcome, not sure exactly how knowledgeable, but I have made a few mistakes along my air rifle journey/ hobby. If you saw my rifle room, you would say that guy has fallen off his rocker. Knowing what I know now, there are a few rifles I would not have bought, part of the learning curve. Take care.
I always think of a pcp as a power tool it's efficient and makes some jobs easier, but requires far less craft than a hand tool to use, a springer is far less forgiving of poor technique or consistency which forces you to be on your game which is no bad thing, they're so much more satisfying to shoot ..God bless 👍👍
While they are nice i will stay withmy springers they are 😊more reliable thanks keep up the good work, you are right always pray and believe inGOD he gives you what you need
@@RaoulDuke333 Thank you for checking out my video!🤠👍 It came with air, but the air leaked really low. I also forgot to mention in the video that the fill probe had a gouge on the o-ring, which made it so I pumped the rifle 200 times with nothing happening, lol.

You surprised me, my friend. You said you didn't like PCPs 😄
@@Laoveyn
Nope, never said that, just said that I wasn't that interested in a PCP, but the price was right!🤠👍
@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 I remember very well that you shared it in the community section and said, "I don't like pcp nonsense." 😆

Nice entry level pcp.Try heavier pellets.Maybe h&n baracuda match 21.14 grains is better choice for the power of this pcp.I was going to buy it last year but i ended up with gamo chacal (urban in usa).Pcps are definetely more accurate than springers especially at distances up to 30 meters
@@chrisal36
Thank you for the great tips and comments!😃👍

Thank you Kurt! I highly appreciate your subscription and all of your very knowledgeable tips!🤠👍

Always elevate your rifle above pump or compressor level, put a box or something under, water will get into cylinder and thats not good.

Did you pump it up from empty?
@@RaoulDuke333
Thank you for checking out my video!🤠👍
It came with air, but the air leaked really low. I also forgot to mention in the video that the fill probe had a gouge on the o-ring, which made it so I pumped the rifle 200 times with nothing happening, lol.
I've heard you can't pump from empty with a hand pump , mine came with air also ,I'm just curious if it is possible to pump from empty, merry Christmas to you
@@RaoulDuke333
Merry Christmas to you also! ✝️🎄🙂👍 I have watched several TH-cam videos with someone pumping up a PCP from 0.
I'll have to look them up , I only started collecting air rifles a year ago and when I was doing my research on what to buy your channel had a big influence, I now have a hw95k, hw97k and a kral NP02. I would like a hw30 , hw99 and hw100 in the future but funds will dictate when .
In the video your were saying you would prefer a springer in a survival situation. I agree but if you have the option of both pcp and springer I'd go with pcp as with zero recoil it's easier to get headshots ie more humane kills , springers are way more fun tho .
Wooow great new shooting video my dear friend, never try PCP too. Have a nice day 💀 👍

@@springpistonriflefeverlone9611 No problem! I got a gun that can push those Crosman hollow points that fast. At close range, it's really accurate, but at 50 yards, it's a mess. Glad you got such a great deal on that PCP!
That looks like the same magazine as the Diana chaser I have.
@@jimashby43
Not sure?
I enjoy both springers and pcp but pumping sucks for a pcp . I do own two pumps and i only use them on my two condor ss because them guns donot have regulators and only have a few orings. For my other pcp i have a compressor with carbon fiber omega tank .
