Airoh Commander First Impressions! My New Adventure Helmet.

- I didn't have an adventure helmet so it was time to do some research!
After A LOT of searching I settled on the Airoh Commander and here are my first thoughts from the first few hundred miles.

I had the same problem. Had to cut out the recess quite a lot, but seems ok now.. Got my Cardo in ok. The speaker cable is a tight fit, but it does push through. Now just need to find a mount for the GoPro. Nice vid...

Agreed about the cutout for speakers, had to do same, but a great helmet😀
It’s been perfect since.. we must have really masculine heads 😉😂
The first few minutes on the motorcycle from your video show me that I'm not alone who finds the mounting options and the implementation of a communication system quite... I'll say... unsatisfactory, my Scorpion can do that better, for example.
And I have a Sena system, so it doesn't seem to matter whether it's a Cardo or Sena, because as far as I know, the speakers on both are 40mm in diameter, which fits well, but you have to adjust the depth and modify it a bit, others do better.
Carrying it is really great because it's light and the visor is also great because it can be snapped into place in several stages. I tested a LS2 Explorer Carbon an the only option is open or closed. 🤔
Otherwise also a good helmet, but this is not what I wanted.
I personally find the idea of mounting a camera on top of the helmet a bit unfortunate. I therefore bought a mount that was specially designed for the helmet.
Otherwise, I can also put on and put on my glasses easily, which was crucial as I wear glasses.
I haven't had the helmet for that long, but I'm happy with it at the moment.

I've got the same helmet and i really like it , i wear glasses and it is completely comfortable on with my glasses on under the helmet. the same brand Aroha make the bmw helmet.

chin skirt needs to sew to inner it will come loose very easily care y don't lose it overall a great helmet on my mv agusta, bonneville

I have a bmw adventure lid I do believe they are made by Airo but I could be wrong

How well does the chin flow air? My shoei hornet is "stuffy" in the Japanese summers😅
I would imagine so. Hard to tell to be honest, I’ve only ever ran it using the chin cover it comes with so airflow is pretty limited. I would say the venting generally though is good and the opening from the visor is HUGE.
@James_Rides great. Cheaper and lighter than shoei. Bigger pilock, if better air flow then I'm set since I'd like a sun visor.

I don’t see why not. Although I haven’t tried, the built in ones have been good enough for me 🙌🏻
