Thats rough having family nagging you all the time not knowing about whàt you are going through. Defiantly check out goodwill, hope network. Fast food is a great job and easy to get, they are almost always hiring. Are there any fast food jobs near your apartment. You still thinking about taking classes? You sound like you are doing alot better. Stay strong!

Hi KC! I wouldn't say they're nagging me, but they have made a few comments here and there. There are restaurants within walking distance that I would love to work at. I'm not taking any classes at GRCC anymore, now that I live in subsidized housing I'm not allowed to go to college at this property. They tell me it's a violation of my subsidy. If I could I would be doing that right now, I did do pretty good my last 2 semesters. But because of the rules here I think working is what's best for me right now.

@@corymodzeleski7191 damn that sucks you are in a catch 22. You want to better yourself but If you do you might be worse off in the long run without medicaid or other assistance. They need to fix the system.

@@kcdavis3812 Hi KC thank you bro I appreciate your support. As far as fixing the system, I dunno.... I'm a pretty conservative type of guy so I don't think we should go too overboard with the handouts... I think it's pretty good as it is, but you are right there is definitely room for improvement. What really bothers me is when I hear about people with disabilities that are much worse than mine who are getting denied SSI/SSDI. It is kind of unfair, my disability isn't really that bad and I got my shit right away without having to see a judge and get a lawyer like most people have to. I really don't understand how social security works or how they make their decisions. In my opinion when it comes to SSI, SSDI, Medicaid and Medicare, I think people with physical and/or development disabilities should get top priority.

@@corymodzeleski7191 yeah I agree with not going overboard with handouts there needs to be more pressure for better care at current funding levels. For example I briefly had therapy many years ago and I was told to do 'self-care', positive affirmations and adult coloring books it was complete BS so I left. Telling someone who is depressed to think positively doesn't work. I also had a therapist who told me he could see mental illness in people's 'eyes' I realized he had more problems than I had.
