Good evening Sir, great antique tractor in live action Sir 👍😉👌 Very nice field plowing therapy video Sir 👌😉👍 Very nice Church Sir 👍😉👌 Beautiful seanery 🧐👌👍 CHeers 🍻
Great video. Just plowed over the weekend myself. Love the smell of fresh dirt and diesel. Next time when your going to plow, could you do a in-depth on how you setup your plow angles and on the draft system on a Massey? It might be very helpful to the younger generation getting started. Keep up the good work!!
Great video makes some difference when you take the time set up the plow and tractor right makes all difference in the world for hard tractor works and the results
Enjoyed the ride along. Brought me back to my preteen years when Dad would give Us a list of gardens to till up. Lucky for me Dad upgraded from a Farmall cub to a Jacobsen chief 7hp lawn and garden tractor. It had a 32" roto tiller on the back that did an awesome job.
Good Video, Plowing is an art and it takes time to learn to plow....Make sure you get to those plow points, shins and slides before long......replaced mine a couple years ago and found everything at Agri Supply online .......They haven't made those 101 plows in about 40+ years now, but they don't make anything like they made them back then.....To last that is....
I need to do some repairs on these plows for sure. They don’t see too much use though. I visited an agri supply a few years ago, it’s an impressive store! Appreciate you watching!
Morning, Ben! The weather is amazing there! I'm jealous that you can work the land already, still way too muddy here. The 245 didn't sound like it was having any trouble at all - just purring along. Thanks for sharing :)
Yes we had a nice week and then snow this morning. March is a crazy month, we had 3 feet of snow in 1993 either late March or the first week of April. You just never know. The Massey does great! Thanks for watching!
Great video makes some difference on how well plowing goes and hard the tractor will work when you takes the time set up the plow a and the tractor correctly
I need to turn my garden plot. Those older Masseys do make good plowers. Both my neighbors have them. One has a 255 and the other one has a 135 and a 235. You hardly have to run them a little above idle to work them. DPFs don't like low rpms as I understand it. I watched a well known TH-camr say older 2 wd tractors aren't worth much these days. I disagree. I have a 86 32 hp 2wd Ford and it plows a single bottom pretty good and swings a 5 ft. cutter pretty darn good. Keep up the good work.
I disagree too on the 2 wheel drives. I’ve accomplished a lot over the years with 2 wheel drive tractors and still continue too. You just have to work smarter with them. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for sharing Ben - I learn a lot from your work - I may not use the knowledge, but it answers a lot of questions I have while I am crazing the back roads of PA - enjoy the journey - cheers
First thing i saw was the counter weight you made, i really got to make something like that, you did a very nice job with it. Pretty jealous of the nice weather you are having, its just a muck mess around here on top of the frozen ground. I guess its hard for the water to settle when everything is a hill lol!
The counter weight is great! Yeah the slopes definitely help with the ground drying out. Plus all the rock underneath provides drainage. Thanks for watching!
I miss my little MF tractor for turn plowing. Dial the setting of the 3 point in and have at it. The tractor does the rest in difficult ground. Best draft control ever made IMHO. I would like to get a single or double bottom plough for my Yanmar Tractor
Hey Ben, we are still a few months away from any plowing. I love the Massey 245, the perfect size tractor for this job. What a nice looking day! What will be planted in these areas? That's a cool plow. Take care
These are just personal garden plots for neighbors. It was good to get these spots turned so the ground can still get some freezing and thawing before it gets tilled. Thanks for watching!
Noticed you don’t seem to run very high rpms when plowing. Do you run a higher gear and lower rpms for a reason? Just trying to learn. Also have a 2 bottom but pulling with Ford 861.
I do that because I like to run first gear high range when I can so I don’t have to switch ranges to back up in high. These Perkins engines are great at low rpm’s. Thanks for watching
Great video I enjoyed watching the old tractor do its job plowing the field they don’t make tractors like that anymore that’s for sure awesome job👍
I’d say this old tractor will still be going after the ones being built today dies. Appreciate you watching!
@@khtractors I believe that good video I enjoyed watching you plow the field 👍
Ah, the sweet sound of that old girl chugging along! Cool video!
It does have a nice sound! Thanks for watching!
It dose a good job about time for a new set of points
Points? It’s a diesel..
He’s referring to the plow points.
Yes it’s ready for some for sure! Thanks for watching!
@@khtractors well there ya go, I learned something new today. 👍
Turn plowing with the Orchard! I needed to hear a good Perkins talk today! Thanks for the video
The Perkins have a unique sound! Appreciate you watching!
Beautiful countryside. A person really needs 2-3 tractors for all of the various jobs.
Various tractors sure does help to have around. Thanks for watching!

It’s a hard working old machine! Turn plowing is fun when your not in the rocks!! Thanks for watching!

Yes I’ll try to do that at some point. Glad you were able to plow some this weekend also! Appreciate you watching!
The Massey hardly broke a sweat doing what it does best 👍🏻, love seeing the Massey 245 in action 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Yes it pulls a plow well, they have an excellent draft control. Thanks for watching!

That sounds like a neat setup. I always enjoy your comments Jim! Thanks for watching!
@@khtractors it worked good small enough to pass through small gates.
Loved watching you plow with the MF 245.
Appreciate you watching it! I just love the sound of that tractor.

I got to till some ground this past weekend for a family. Felt good to work the dirt. Enjoyed the video, I learn some good stuff watching what you do.
That’s great! It does feel good! Thanks for watching!
Hey, great video. Just did some plowing also with a Massey 135 and 2 -14'" plows for my mother, and aunt. Again thanks for the videos.
That’s awesome! Those 135’s are good plowing tractors also. Thanks for watching!
Nice job, the rocks are a pain sometimes, but the spring trip are nice.
Yes rocks make plowing difficult but the spring trips are better then replacing shear bolts by far! Thanks for watching!
Ben, Your reminding me of what still needs done here😂 Happy Plowing my friend 🚜👍🏼🪵🇺🇸
😂😂 Just taking advantage of the nice day! Thanks for watching!

How's she goin'? it must feel nice getting back out in the fields and doing some plowing eh!! Some nice day you had going on there. Take care!!!
Yes it was a beautiful day to get done work done, felt good! Thanks for watching!
Great video! I really like listening to to that Perkins diesel. How many hours do you have on it?
I think everyone really enjoys listening to this tractor, I get so many comments on how well it sounds. It only has 2,300 hours. Thanks for watching!
