Magpies always behave like this. When they see a dead magpie, they try to gather its feathers and "resurrect" it with loud squawking. Therefore, it is best to let it lie there after being shot, and the other magpies in the area will come by themselves and you will not have to look for them.
Exactly
Absolutely so, I've come to realise that based on my experience too. In an older video of mine I shot 5 in a row like that.
Wow! What a little powerhouse the GK1 is! Just shy of 50 ftlb with the 34g pellets. Great little setup and great shooting as always Alex 🙌
Thank you, friend 🙂 It can go higher, but I saw there's accuracy at that velocity, so I left it there.
Good to see that you have a buddy you can share this passion with, those are the good things in life!.
Absolutely, mate, I have a couple of friends that have helped me a lot 🙂 I consider all of you people watching and commenting buddies of mine too 🙂 At least to an extent. So thank you.
Amazing that those shots are as accurate as from a rifle, and just as deadly with adequate power.
Absolutely, mate, this little beast is a pleasant surprise. Thank you 🤝
I've had my eyes on the GK1 for a few months now. Sadly enough it's not within my budget. Thanx for the review. And once more i must say I adore our beloved cat. Even if it is stealing away the loot.
I hope you'll be able to afford one of those some day, friend... And thank you for watching 🤝
Always lovely to see the little pistol that could! That's a damn fine subcompact package, perfect for indoors and locations difficult to navigate, where you're unlikely to have many good sightlines.
Spot on, my friend, and thank you for watching 🙂🤝
Great Shootin' Alex I really like the quick detach butt stock mod just so simple and so easy great stuff. Thanks for the video. Cheers from the desert SW USA!
Thank you, friend 🤝 I'm glad you enjoyed the video and greetings to the desert part of your beautiful country 😊
Howdy from Sacramento! Always a pleasure to watch your vids. Great shooting and nice kit! Cheers!
Howdy partner 🙂✋ Always a pleasure to hear from you, thank you for watching 🤝
Nice work buddy 👏
Thank you, brother 🤝 Cheers!
you shoot with it with the same accuracy as with a gun, amazing
It's the pistol, my friend, if shouldered It's a great pest control and hunting platform 🙂 Thank you 🤝
Alex you are the true Highlander..only one. Pest control! Thank you.
😊 That means so much, mate! Thanks a mil, it's an honour to have you on board, my friend! Cheers 🤝
As always, great vid!! The GK1 is very cool, I need to start carrying them in my store..
I think you won't regret it, mate 🙂 Thank you.
It'd be nice to see the Huben and Edgun in your store. I'm patiently waiting for the western air gun sidewinder 😂. I look forward to meeting you soon.
Nice one! and good Solution with the stock
Thank you, friend 🙂 🤝
Awesome video Alex and I've just got to say that the GK1 does not disappoint in performance and accuracy any shots taken the birds dropped from their position to kitty food right away. Cheers Alex
Thank you, Donald 🙂 A great little gun that GK1. Credit to Huben.
You can actually find replacement parts now too! I broke an important plastic seal by dropping and then stepping on it, I was soo mad at myself. I have had the gun completely apart at this point except for the trigger group, you don't wanna touch that unless you are practically a gunsmith. Fantastic gun with great design.
Sorry about your ordeals, mate, but those things happen. And you're spot or, a great gun indeed.
Nice setup 👌. On target as always.
Thank you kindly, friend 👍
another great video thanks 👍 👍
Glad you enjoyed it, and I thank you for watching, mate 😊
A man (or woman) that is tired of watching magpie hunts is tired of life. Bliss.
😄 Thank you, friend, enjoy!
Hi great shooting Alex, love the look of the gk1 shame our pistol limit in the UK is 6ft lbs
Thank you, Darren 👍 It's a pity, mate, the laws are crazy in the UK...
Looks superb 👌
...and it performs in such manner too 🙂 Thanks, bud.

USA air gunner here. This my friend was an excellent video and even better shooting skills. This pistol rocks.
Oh one more thing, don’t worry about the morons who love magpies lol.
😄 Thank you, friend! Really a pleasure to have people like you watching.
Great job on the birds, and on feeding the cats. Maybe you have a new fan base with the dogs as well. The pistol does well with the heavy slugs, I would have not expected that performance, but you prove that it does. Awesome video, careful on that ice. Cheers from Texas.
Thanks, bud, I'll try to be careful, not good at ice skating at all 😉 Greetings to you and the great state of Texas!
Amazing this gun, beautiful and compact in design, quiet deadly in shooting, the groupings is remarkable.
Thank you, friend, that pistol is really awesome and versatile 😊🤝
Great job great gun👍👍you are the king of the pain in nick shoots😂

For minute i thought you were gonna shoot the cat stealing your dove 😂😂😂great shooting awesome set up i receive mine tomorrow been waiting 4 months like your set set up on your gun thanks for the up load
Most people do, friend 😄 In a video of mine I even said specifically that I wasn't going to. Sometimes things happen so fast I have no time to switch to my main camera 🤷
Thank you so much and let me say you've made a great choice! Straight shooting and happy new gun day! 😉
Impressive accuracy , that Huben GK1 is sweet Alex 🎯
I think so too, thank you, friend 🙂
@@AirRifleActivities 🎯👍😎
Great video👍
Thank you so much 😊
Wow! That is a n amazing set up.
Thank you, James, it really is, credit to Huben and Wolfiek.
Hey Alex, sorry I haven't posted in a while but still dealing with things.
You are right about the collared doves, they have multiplied rapidly here. People don't know they can be shot year round as long as you don't shoot a mourning dove by mistake. I got out and got 5 pigeons on a short trip, I'm definitely out of practice. Oddly enough there weren't any collared doves around or any other pest birds. The doves are already nesting so that might be why.
Keep stacking them up.
Thank you, Tommy, and it's great to have you watching and talk to you again 🙂🤝 I'm sure you'll be back in shape in no time. Saw your IG post.
Thwack 'em Alex, heck with the Karen's. Sweet stock adaptation, thanx 4 the video!
Thank you, Eric 🙂 Means a lot, bud. More on the way, hope to catch you on the next one 🙂👍
As always fantastic shooting. Have got a UX Trevox at my place of work and got a sky rat the other day and fired but thought it missed but flew a bit them just dropped. Great video aswell mate.
That’s a fun break barrel pistol. I had one and really enjoyed it.
@VitalArms never seen one of those. Gotta look it up. And Dave, sometimes this happens with a clean pass through for instance. Sky rats can be tough critters. Thanks for watching and your comments, boys 🤝
@VitalArms just getting used to it. I love it, got a fair bit of power in it too.
@AirRifleActivities it's a great little pistol. Got one today and didn't make it off the floor, dirt nap straight off.
Thank you to the author of the video. I really liked this weapon. And the cats are grateful to you for a delicious lunch. Greetings from Russia! I'm always waiting for the latest video from you. You're the best!
Thank you kindly, friend, my greetings to you too and спасибо! 🤝
Those pistols are lasers.
Great guns indeed, mate 🙂
Great to see you getting a brace of Magpies Alex, great video as usual 👍
Thanks, brother, they're not a common sight at that place. Got a bit lucky, I guess 😉
You have a parliament of Magpies lol I've heard it called that.
@@Doobie603 first time I hear of that expression, but it's a good one, cheers 😄
glad to see your's video ! And now you have a canine retrievers !
Thanks, mate 🙂 Will see about the canines, I'm not sure they were not passing by. Catch you on the next one 👍
You are spot on about magpies, same in UK, the Huben looks to be accurate for a pistol
It really is, mate, a great little pest control platform. Cheers 👍
@@AirRifleActivities problem for us in the UK is power limit of up to 6ftlbs
Wooww... Perfect airgun...
It really is, buddy, thanks 🙂👍
Holy smokes! That little gun packs a whallop! I have been eye balling The GK1 for short range pesting and well, just to have one! LOL this video decided me on .25cal though. Would be an excellent grouse and rabbit gun. What is your nominal shot count? Thanks btw for your efforts and kindness in sharing your work.
Hey, Bret 🙂 I think you'll be amazed by the gun, you just have to fashion some kind of stock for it. Although I'm sure there'll be something on the market before long. At that power setting it gave me about 20 consistent shots from 310 bar to 190 bar full, I think I said it in the video. You can get more shots if you shoot the 25 grain pellets. Up to you really.
Cool pistol will see if we can get in the UK 👍👍👍
Thank you, friend, I think it must be available in the UK, try the links in the video description. Cheers 👍
Awesome, awesome, awesome… new toy on my list.🎉
And quite a toy it is, Manny, thanks, mate 😊🤝
@@AirRifleActivities how it goes for double taps?
@@AffordableAirguns well, you could see at the video start - in a second I removed the stock I made and used it for a double tap just several yards away 😉
Bet those cats love you love your guns thanks for your videos
Thank you, Nigel 😊 They won't let me touch them, though 😉
Very nice pistol, it packs a punch! You are using the Firefly camera, right? what is your setting with the recording? 30fps or 120fps? Very clear footages.
Thank you, Alex 🙂 And to answer your question: no, I use the GoPro Hero 7 Black with an aftermarket Eagle Vision lens. And the Veyron gives me the haziest image, but it's the smallest in size so I keep it for the GK1.
@@AirRifleActivities Ic. I thought I saw the Orion scope cam in the video.
@@ARP-airriflepestings you did, my friend 🙂 Erlis' scope mounts is all I use.
@@AirRifleActivities cool
Nice solution for the removable stock. Did tou bend that stock yourself from a aluminium or iron bar? I have the GK1 myself and i am looking for such a attachment.
Hey, bud, and thank you. That was a 5 mm thick aluminium bar. You can see what we did in my previous video of the GK1: th-cam.com/video/TF148hx307I/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gixk4Xh5jkP4x-Hn
Nothing special, quick and easy solution once you get a piece of Al and some rubber coating.
@@AirRifleActivities i will look at the video. At the moment i am drawing a sturdy removable and foldable stock for myself to print with a 3D printer. if you have interest i can share the .stl file if i am done and content with it.
Great video sir.
Im about to buy this pistol, but im stuck on whether i should buy the 25caliber or the 22caliber.
I like the larger caliber, but someone told me that buying the 22caliber will leave me much more options in terms of pellets, and some pellets in 22cal are almost as big as 25 caliber.
Buying the 25cal leaves me less pellet options.
So im not sure what gun to get!
Thanks for your video!
I thank you, George, I appreciate it, friend 🙂 What they told you is true, but eventually your choice will come down to two or three projectiles anyway.
I went through the same thoughts. As described by air rifle activities, I also thought .22 would be better since the pellet options are cheaper and more plentiful, but in reality you’re likely not to have 10 different pellets on hand to shoot. Find a couple the gun likes and stick with it. I went with .25 and happy I did. Like you mentioned tho, some .22 do have the weight of some .25 pellets though
@@VitalArms true story, mate 👍 The JSB Monsters Redesigned, fir instance, which is a great pellet, and the 34 grain Beasts, which few guns shoot well.
My friend there's no need explaining about putting your gun down on a cloth gently I'm the same exact way I don't even want smudges on my guns. These guns are very expensive and I'm gonna make sure mine don't get scratched up because I don't even like owning a gun that looks worn or scratched up and I can see your just like me with that and you should be because you have all high end guns and gear.
So good to be understood, John 🙂 Some people tell me I'm way too pedantic and that those things are tools, but I'm like you - I get mad about the slightest scratch 😄 Thanks, bud!
@AirRifleActivities exactly Alex and I don't care what others say or think because I treat my things the way I want to and always have because money don't come easy for some of us so when I finally get the money to buy high end guns and gear you better believe it that I'm gonna take great care of them in making sure they keep on looking perfect and operating perfect just in case I ever trade or sell something. My Leshyi Classic and Leyla 2.0 I had for 3 to 4 years and when I traded the leshyi and Leyla both of them looked the same exact way when I bought them new and took them out of the box that's why I had no trouble making a good deal.
Liked. When you change the distance and angle, do you adjust the scope to compensate or is anything under 50 yards and angle pretty flat so that no adjustments are needed?
Thanks, bud. With airguns you need to adjust for angle and distance - the trajectory is not that flat, it's not like shooting a firearm.
@@AirRifleActivities Thanks!

Belos disparos amigo.
Muchas gracias, hermano 😊 Thank you!
Does the air cylinder fill quickly? It seems like it would being that small. I don’t have any small air tanks on my pcps. I will be ordering a GK1 very soon though.
Yes, it does, buddy 🙂 I recommend getting the Huben pump too, as it can fill up to 350 bar, which is rare for pumps and almost non existent for air tanks (they are all 300 bar).
I want to see what it may produce at 100yrds on paper,I think it might shock most, that 40 yrd accuracy was subpar for that barrel length
It really is, but I gotta say I doubt it is a 100-yard gun... 🤔 Something to look into one of these days 😉
Muy buen video y exelente control de plagas y la pistola huben un espectáculo 👍👏👌🧉 saludos 👍
Gracias, my friend, always a pleasure 😊
hey what air rifle do you recommend for hunting the AEA Challenger Pro Airgun or the AEA sf semi auto standard love your videos i learn alot from them
Again, thank you, friend, but I haven't tried those two myself, so I can't give you a valid opinion.
How many shots does one gas station take? And how long is the air stored in the gun if not used? Or is the air supposed to be drained after firing, before long-term storage? Please explain.
The shot count depends on the power adjustment and how many bar you fill up the gun to.
The air can be stored indefinitely in the gun. But if you intend to not use it for like a year or more, in my opinion it would be better to degas it.
do you ever have any problems with pellets or slugs going through the targets and damaging your property?
Passing through targets - yes, happens all the time. You just need to be mindful of what's behind the target, bud. If there's stuff that can be broken (glass, etc.), you just shoot from a different angle, wait for a better opportunity or get a smaller caliber gun with a lower power level.
Mom is letting the pups eat first. Good mom
🙂 They took a couple of the birds I shot but I wonder if they ate them... I've seen dogs play with the birds, nothing more.
Cool👍
Thanks, bud 👍
Well well what can i say Alex . Brother awesomely put out there , didnt know that a pistol can be so accurate. Always good to watch your videos, enjoy each and every one , keep them coming 😊.
Thank you, Billy 🙂 I was a bit skeptical myself until this compact monster proved its worth.
oh thats more accurate than my 24 inch barrel.
What is your barrel, mate? And the gun?
@@AirRifleActivities just a local made tactical pcp mate but i order a quality barrel already for a long range👍
I have an Artemis CP1 which is also a pistol and I would like to replicate the stock which you have built for your Huben, could I perhaps email you to get some sizes dimensions etc of your homemade stock
Hey, bud. No special sizes or dimensions there, just a piece of aluminium, 2.5 mm wide, 5 mm thick, and you bend it whatever way would be comfortable to you. You can coat it with heat shrink tubing for additional comfort. That's all 🙂
Nice toy for the big boy
True 😉 We grown-up boys love such toys 😄
hi, buddy how can I own one. Anyways thanks for sharing this video. God bless you all. 👍
Hey, Johnny, and thanks, friend 🙂Check out the links in the video description. Cheers.
Alex, what is the kinetic energy in joules of the airsoft gun you use in the video? Have you tested it?
Hey, bud. That's not an airsoft gun. That's a PCP airgun. In other words, that's not a toy. It's highly adjustable power wise, but in this video it was set to 50 foot pounds.
@@AirRifleActivities I know it is a PCP air gun, but what I want to know is how many joules of kinetic energy it has? Have you tested it?
@@cowsquish5894 in my previous contract moment I stated the energy level, mate. In foot pounds. You can convert it to joules online if you will.

Could you give me details on your camera scope setup and approximate cost?
I use an Orion Cam scope mount, with a GoPro Hero 7 Black and an Eagle Vision lens. Here's a link to the Orion Cam mount: orioniguanahunter.com/products/orioncam
The GoPro cam you can find in second hand listings. You need an aftermarket lens too, Google Eagle Vision Cam.
Depending on where you live, it would cost you about €500-600.
I'm thinking of buying Niksan Tacto S, that gun very expensive
Straight shooting, brother 🙂
What is the maximum range of this pistol?
Depends on what you're using it for 🙂 Check out my latest video, mate.

What about the lead in the birds when predators eat the pigeons? Curious.
There is none. Usually the shot is a pass through. And if it's not, animals have better senses that ours, they wouldn't devour a projectile.
