All new 3d-printed F-14 Tomcat Mk2 maiden flight

Dom has for some time been working on a complete revision of his Tomcat. He explains the changes and has a successful maiden flight. Powered by two FMS 50 mm 4S ducted fans, with two 40 A ESCs, this plane can really perform. Great job Dom! It does retain a mysterious elevon flutter whilst on the ground when he applies up elevator. Strangely, the servos only do this when hooked up to the elevons - and apparently only when not flying!

Good one son! It really gets away well on the launch, and with the new tail servos with no slop in the gears, the flutter is gone and it looks like it's on rails... "Tower this is Ghostrider - requesting a fly-by." Thanks for the footage Warren, you nailed it! 🙂
