Absolutely the best instructional video 😌
I was able used a large russel honbs kitchen knife to make the vertical cuts in the cowling by levering/rocking the knife straight down, then the horizontal 'cut' going back n forth with extreme bending/folding of the plastic until it snapped off.

Thanks again for the PM’s on messenger @peugeotCitroen2cv.
Following your instructions and got cruise and speed limiter working spot on.
My 2012 Berlingo Multispace 1.6 hdi 8v with EDC17 engine ECU and 9HP wouldn’t work on any other version of Diagbox other than 7.02.
If you get ‘invalid key’ and you drive a 2012 downgrade Diagbox to 7.02.
      7.01 - did not work
      7.02 - WORKED
      7.57 - did not work
      7.58 - did not work
      7.62 - did not work
      7.66 - did not work
      No version between 7.66-7.83 worked
      7.82 - did not work
      7.83 - did not work.
7.02 was the only way to go in case you get stuck. Thanks again for the info and the video. Now tempted to try your other videos :)
      Next tasks for me are:
      - front top strut mounts
      - fuel leak from near fuel rail
      - dpf
      - blower fan motor
That EML I had in the video I sent you was to do with the DPF blocking throwing up other random codes. If you kick it too hard it does that for me occasionally. I need my dpf erased 🤣
Need my blower fan motor replaced. Relay is fine. No blow on any settings. Still get a residue amount of heat or cold depending on the setting but still not blow.
Know any easy ways of getting to the blower motor? I have a vague idea of it being under the steering wheel and above the pedals but by Christ is it tight.

I took my 2013 Partner Teepee to a Peugeot main dealer last year, to get cruise retrofitted. They were confident they could do it, checked, installed & programmed everything, but then found on the roadtest that the chosen speed wasn't retained - it flashed back to 10mph or something. After 2 days investigation they admitted defeat, and refunded me what I'd paid for the work. They did mention that there was a fault code related to the resistance of the accelerator pedal (rheostat) which they thought could be relevant - quoted £400 for replacement! As the cc switch is still fitted (Thanks Peugeot!), it would be great to get it working. I did buy a second -hand accelerator pedal on Ebay, but never got round to fitting it. Is swapping the pedal out worth a try - or is the problem more likely to be with the programming?

I have done the cruise control part(limiter not required) of the install on my 2008 xtr berlingo, and my mechanic has enabled cruise on the bsi and the ecu, following appropriate steps. Hi thank you for your reply. I managed to get the cruise control working, as you said it was the version of diagbox that was the issue. I do now have another issue though. I purchased the accelerator pedal for the speed limiter, however the new one has 6 electrical pins, whereas the original only has five, with the plug also accommodating five pins. My cable doesn't have the one with the orange clip. Is there a different pedal available with 5 pins or maybe a 5 pin to 6 pin adapter?

Google Citroen RPO number to see examples of what i am asking, let me know what your RPO number is and i will see what i can find in terms of part numbers. Hi quick question.
I got my Citroen xzsara picasso 2007 second hand. It already had the CC control stick installed when I got it but the CC has never worked. After watching your vid I've now seen that the accelerator pedal isn't LVVD, and I have no diagnostic equipment to check if the clutch and break switches are correct.
Do you think there's a change seeing as it should already be enabled on the car, if I just switch the parts for the correct parts as listed in the video, that it might start working? Or will I still need the lexia equipment to enable it?
The mist frustrating thing is, I'd assume a light would come on the dash but the equipment not work because I've got the wrong parts, but that doesn't seem to work. Could again that be due to it not recognising the wrong parts therefore just not working all together?
    Any help much appreciated. Cheers

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi there
I am not sure if the xsara picasso supports the speed limiter functionality, so i doubt there is a need to look for the LVVD pedal, but some may have had cruise control.
You would still need lexia to enable any of the functions. If you had lexia you could at the very least see if the command is being sent to activate cruise control.
Ask on the citroen owners club or a specific xsara picasso one there may be someone who has lexia, its not too expensive to buy from ebay but im not 100% sure about versions anymore as i now use a device which works with all cars so havent really had much cause in the past few years to use my old xp laptop and lexia dongle.

What does the speed limiter do?

    • @peugeotCitroen2CV
      @peugeotCitroen2CV  3 ปีที่แล้ว

It is demonstrated working towards the end of the video.
However to put it in writing the speed limiter will prevent the vehicle from going over the set speed. Set it to 30mph driving through a town and it will not accelerate above it.
There is a detent in the accelerator pedal so if you push hard on it the vehicle will override the speed limiter which may be required.
A downside to this particular system compared to some more modern ones is that it will not use the brakes to maintain the speed, my dad has a 2015 Mercedes C class which will brake the vehicle which is particularly useful if driving downhill. It will also engage the brakes if you turn on the speed limiter, if you engage the speed limiter in this berlingo the speed display will flash until you bring the vehicle down to that speed.
