    This spot is my favourite place on the island. I used to trap a lot of lobster down here at the low water mark. Now though, it's been swarmed by velvets, undersized brown crag and strap conger. You can see the remains of the old slipway in the vid (around 2:50- 3:20) and the old winch. Super cool!

    Looks like quite a few caves there. Amazing you found a wall and floor. Was that the Kingswells place?

      I believe from old photos it was either a boat house or a building linked to fishing

    Bet the Maritime trust would like that..did it get washed away the village? Wonder if anything remains at St Helens further out? Thanks for sharing

      Puckaster Cove is near Niton, nowhere near St Helens which is on the other side of the Isle of Wight.
