Object Class: Keter
Special Containment Procedures: SCP-1155 is currently contained in a disused parking lot adjacent to an abandoned shopping centre in the ███ █████ city metropolitan area. The building is to be marked condemned, and access to both it and the car park should be restricted by Foundation personnel posing as security guards from the █████████ ████ front company. Civilians are to be deterred from entering the site and supplied with Standard Cover Story 47 - “Structural Instability/Sinkhole” if they enquire as to why. SCP-1155 must be kept under constant observation by motion-tracking security cameras. If SCP-1155 is observed to vanish, Mobile Task Force Pi-1 ("City Slickers") should be notified immediately. Personnel should not routinely attempt to view SCP-1155 directly; observation must be conducted remotely.

Idk if it’s just me but I think that this one is very well-written. I especially like the fact that it displayed stalking behavior of the surviving victims. Something about it hunting its victims is genuinely terrifying
The idea of the van driving the D class back to the city and the drivers seeing it appearing alongside them as they continued to drive is horrifying to me.

After a full day wipe the art clean when no one is watching and get your lols knowing someone will freak out the next day.

If a D-class is between SCP-1155 and SCP-173 and everyone looks away, which SCP kills them? Would they fight over them? Would one give up?
If 1155 can see then 173 would not do anything

Io Actually, 1155 activates almost instantaneously, just like 173. It only takes 6 seconds to finish with its victim. So if they both activate at the same time, would 173 still try and kill the victim even if 1155 has started its process?

Oh damn, there used to be an urban legend in my kindergarten about a small hut-like structure on a nearby playground. Apparently there was an owl sticker inside, the eyes of which followed you around when you moved. It wasn't there when I went to investigate, but a lot of people said that they had seen it (mind you we were five years old at most)

That's printing visual effect that can be achieved. It's like fursuits always following your movement with their costume eyes. Holographic sticker? Those were creepy when they looked at you.
You guys are sleeping on this one! As someone who explores a city by finding great murals and street art, I'd definitely be done in by this one.

I think it's more a sloped graph, because, as you can see, deadlier SCPs are harder to contain because they are simply capable of murdering Agents attempting to capture it. Almost every SCP you see designated as "Keter" is a horrific abomination of death.
Yeah, I mean, the Terminator franchise has a decent demonstration of how threat to the lives of personnel correlates with object class:
Nuclear weapon - safe. Basically inert if left alone, i.e. “safe to contain”. Nobody from the foundation is gonna argue against getting posted as a guard there.
Original Terminator: Euclid
It’s just a robot, albeit a very deadly one. Dump it in a pit, bury it, pin it to an electromagnet, whatever, and then just monitor its efforts to escape containment. It’ll break out without active effort to contain it, and it’ll potentially kill personnel if it comes into contact with them, but overall not too big a threat in terms of escape or harm.
That liquid terminator? The one that can change shape at will, squeeze through spaces of any size, impossible to damage without something like a steel foundry? Keter. If it was just trying to escape, it might be Euclid, but the fact that it is willing and able to easily kill personnel while it gloops through almost any kind of containment means that maintaining containment in inherently difficult and poses a high risk of both containment breach and harm to personnel.
Some of the best articles are the ones that subvert this obvious correlation, though. I particularly like the PTSD chair, where something that was always technically qualified for Euclid or Keter was only upped to Euclid after a series of events led the SCP to act violently due to fear and self-preservation
Not always a lot of keter objects are not hostile at all and it’s just the risk of them being known that is big.

173 is an scp that was influenced by the weeping angel statues, the scp foundation likes doctor who so it might have taken influence off of some of it

Slashing paint on the wall can be considered damaging, that and acting as cover obscuring the SCP, and result in relocation.
A layer of paint is nothing different than a layer of cloth covering it.

SCP-274-2 are humanoids who, among other characteristics, can phase into walls, temporarily turning themselves into living graffito. Spraying over the anomaly with paint wouldn't work because you're essentially spraying over it, as in you're introducing a secondary plane over its own; but with 274-2 they _are_ on the same plane, which would mean that it is possible for them to interact. Now, while instances of 274-2's spray cans are effective, I'm not sure they would work while phased in. I still do believe that they still could use their hands to interact with 1155. As in, not interacting with the wall, but with 1155 itself. In a way, the wall is still completely there. Now, I think we can all agree that in these circumstances, 1155 could definitely kick a 274-2's ass in hand-to-hand fighting. But, what about 2? Or 5? Or 20? Or a hundred. They still would be fighting the drawing itself as opposed to the wall, so they technically could cause damage to 1155 itself. If they were able, enough 274-2's phased into a wall might theoretically be able to kill 1155. Permanently.

In light of recent evidence and deliberation among the Artistic Anomalies Unit, Dr. Hannah Morel hypothesized that origin of SCP-1155-J may have been conceived by the merging of an Old Spice Nature commercial character and its depiction by a prominent Anartist known as "Banksy", who is believed to create SCP-1155-J as an analogy or parody. @Cheese Wizard But the thing is. SCP prefers to not kill SCP's. Only those that could cause extinction-level events have attempts to kill them. It's better to research them and discover more about them and how they work than just kill them.

Also, the note wanting to avoid anthropomorphizing by calling attention to its boldness kinda ignores that animal predators display similar behaviors. One reason predators rely on ambush is to avoid injury from prey, but if the prey can’t injure or run from you, there’s no reason to ambush or hide. Just swoop in and kill.
Wanting to avoid anthropomorphizing is a bit silly in this case, given how weirdly sadistic it is. There are real animals that will go for the eyes, loads of them (including owls). But an animal cutting off the hands and feet and tearing out the tongue? That's a very human action, it's impractical, targeting appendages at the far ends of the body, or located in hard to reach places. I don't know of a single wild animal that would engage in such behavior. Or a single wild animal that is so absurdly methodical. Going after children out of spite is also very human. Either there's some human motivation behind this thing, or just an author who doesn't understand how predators work.

I've dreamed about this scp once. But it wasn't in a street ou abandoned building, it was on a field and attacked my friends who I didn't had direct eye contact. When it came to me, I just woke up.

There is actually a graffiti of an owls head close to the shopping center near my home. When I see it I always think of SCP 1155 and it creeps me out.
It kind of sounds like it has similarities to 106 and 173.
It's also SERIES-I so there was a clear influence. Besides the low number, they reference "Amnesiacs" insteads of "Amnestics," which was a common goof in the early days.
It really sweetens the deal knowing this owl art is out there somewhere for real

Blitzidious it's a pocket dimension that can only be accessed from 3 different places, all of which are named Portland. I know one of them is Portland, Oregon but I don't know the other 2. In 3 Portlands everybody knows about the anomalous nature of the world, so anomalous people can live there peacefully, and a lot of the people freely practice things like anart, which is why 3 Portlands is home to a lot of anartists. Interestingly enough, the Foundation has no jurisdiction there after 1919, and when the Foundation does show up there, they're definitely not welcome. Tho the UIU does have have jurisdiction in 3 Portlands, which has led to things like the Foundation and UIU teaming up to launch a raid on the Anderson Robotics main headquarters in 3 Portlands to capture Anderson

Why does Miller say "Could have sworn I've seen that somewhere" at the end? Is he referring to the final note on the document, implying that he wrote it but doesn't remember? Is it referring to the SCP itself, implying he has seen it on a wall during a containment breach? The latter seems more likely, since it's Researcher Miller, not Dr Miller, but it seems like an odd random detail to add to the video. What gives, Volgun?

To me, this was always one of the most interesting and potentially one of the most dangerous scp.
the thing I love about SCP Foundation stuff is that SCPs can be horrific, and often are, but the foundation itself and it's methods are just as if not more horrifying to consider.
Let´s say you´re on your own with that thing and if it starts it´s process of dismemberment BUT you manage to damage the wall OR the painting itself. will it let go of you and relocate or still finish you off?
