- On the MyGig radio in my Jeep you can copy music from USB stick or CD to the internal hard drive.
This is an amazing radio, considering that it is already 6 years old, and it is still working. That must be a good quality harddrive in there, if you imagine the shaking in the car, and the temperature fluctuations. I wonder why my HDD in my computer doesn't last that long.

Very important. To copy music from usb pen drive you must format usb pen drive with the Fat32 file system, after format, you can copy music file mp3 in pen drive.

Any idea what format to save MP3s on the USB so that the Artist and Album name show once loaded? I just end up with [song name].mp3 for the each song, it loses all the info that goes with the song despite it being attached to file. I seem to remember you may have to save them in folders and sub-folders so kind of like Dire Straits/Brother in Arms/Brothers in Arms.mp3 with Artist/Album/song.mp3 but even that is no longer working these days.
idk, i haven't used it in so long. i thought it displays the id tag inside the mp3 file, but i may be wrong.

Mine won't accept my flash drive. When I go into MY FILES and then to download music the USB option isn't even lit up. I touch it and nothing happens. I put my flash drive in and nothing happens
Try a different USB drive.

hi, when I try to connect my usb drive (in my chrysler grand voyager 2008), it says : Detected Usb isn't valid.
I already tried to put my usb drive in fat32, exFat, and ntfs.. But it still shows the same message. Can someone help ? Thanks

you have to remove the harddrive, mount it on a computer with QNX and then copy the files to a USB stick. Not easy at all.
Mine won't give me the AUX without a Bluetooth connection 😞

ScarceMagician i think you can copy the user data to an external usb hard drive, but i am not sure how this works. i think the dealership can do that, when you switch from one car to another.

@@isidrozarate8484 Sorry but the car was sold before I got the chance to try anything. But I assume a simple laptop to car via 2 usb ports should to the trick for quick file transferring for media files. Otherwise I believe you can keep the usb plugged in and use that as a media storage device.

that does not work so easy. For copyright reasons. There is no copy music to USB button on that radio.
