    Hey Michael! Thanks for sharing and congratz with first belt! We are same height and almost same weight so I think I can learn a lot from your clips, your clinch knees for example. Also I like how you throw straight low kicks (like at 3:46), they look very powerful. Going to set the speed to 0.25 and look carefully again)

    • @muaymichael
      @muaymichael  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey my man, thanks for your words you got this! If you are the same height definitely work on the clinch and the knees, thats to be honest whats most effective for me in the ring (and we will have a advantage anyways bc we will mostly be taller then the opponents) 😊 Hope you find your style, keep going!

    Man, I love watching your videos! They're so real! I'm a 16 year old kickboxer (been doing it for almost a year), how hard is it to adapt? I'm planning on going for a small bit once I finish school, do you think I'd be able to be thrown into a fight almost immediately or do you think i should learn from them for a while? By the way, keep it up! These are so fun.

    • @muaymichael
      @muaymichael  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Haha funny, I tried kickboxing also lately awesome sport too (video is coming soon)! I think you will be doing good especially because of the boxing aspect, in Thailand that's less a priority. But before a fight you have to learn that clinch and may change your stance habits then you are ready to go 💯

    Good job. Any thought of working more on the elbows? With your height advantage your elbows could be deadly. With longer reach you have advantage on the punches and as they come in closer, you can finish them with the elbow.

Hast du da eine Empfehlung wie man sich an das Training gewöhnen kann, wie lange hast du gebraucht? I hope you are conscious that nowaday being a "champ" as a farang doesn't mean shit anymore right? They match you up with bums and cans just because they want you to keep coming back and paying for training and partnership. Until you fight someone relevant, don't call yourself a champ please. It's an insult to people like Dany Bill and Ramon Dekkers.

      @@muaymichael Please understand I am not hating on you and my comment is nothing personal. But it makes me sad when I see this trend happening more and more.
      Tiger muay thai I think was the first to really push that and match their farang students with bums, just to make good marketing videos and get more students.
      All of that is done at the expense of local thais who get miss matched and "sacrificed" for farangs to get their "titles" and career image going on...

    • @muaymichael
      @muaymichael  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@BlueBeam10 Didn't know about that, but could make sense. Especially if you are a big organisation who knows the promoters of the stadiums very well, because they do the matchmaking and can "do you a favor". We are trying to get equal fights, I don't have interest in fighting bums, I want to fight better opponents. I'm begging my coach already to go to Bangkok with me to the hard fights to gain more experience, even if that means that I will loose. But I understand your point and that could be very frustrating for people who really putting the work in to see fighters getting pushed in their career based on "fake fights"
