Friday, August 20, 2021 Wrightsville Beach, NC Rip Current Drone Footage

Though Tropical Storm #Henri was well offshore at the time, it still brought 3-5ft swells to the coastal Carolinas, along with dangerous rip currents. This video shows drone footage of a rip current at Wrightsville Beach, NC. Towards the end of the video, you can see two body boarders in particular that are trying to swim against the rip current, but can't.
