I never knew ANY of this and have spent my entire life in and around these lakes. We need to see this taught in schools and featured on TV. Thanks for putting this together!
Thank you so much GLSRP. July 4th 2006 many of our lives changed when we lost David Ni to drowning in South Haven, MI. He was a brilliant classmate, teammate, and good friend to many. His memory is not lost and your efforts to save lives since then has surely educated many. RIP David. Thinking of you.
My condolences, I can't imagine what you're going through. This last sunday on 9/12/21 two friends and I came very close to drowning in south haven too, right by the pier. We ignored the warning flags and learned about rip currents the hard way. We are very thankful to be alive
Thank you. I lived in Florida for a long time and now am back in Michigan. This is important information for any body of water. Keeping calm is important because you can drown the person who is trying to save you when you panic.
Thank you for putting together this information! I survived an incident on Lake Michigan which could have ended differently. EVERYONE (kids and adults alike) needs to learn what to do in case we come close to drowning. Clearly we need more education on this if people like myself who are very reasonable and responsible can come into danger. I had previously thought the people at risk of drowning were limited to those doing something obviously foolish but such is not the case.
Our Great Lakes are beautiful, but dangerous if you don’t take them seriously. I always enter the lake humbly and exit thankfully, those waters are no joke.
the best viedos in youtube about currents💯💯💯💯💯❤👍👍👍👍👍👍

Wow excellent. How can this information be disseminated to tourists in our town that have no clue how dangerous Lake Mi is?

The narrator sounds like the guy from aumsum
