Dolphins are amazing creatures and they have saved many people’s lives. The fin he saw could have been a dolphin, they are known to help wounded people and bringing them back to shore. Either way, God definitely is the one who was looking out for him. I wonder if the water was freezing cold and how he was able to stay swimming for 20 hours. That’s just unbelievably insane, this man is meant to be here for something.
I love dolphins sometimes. I wouldn’t swim with them willingly though lol they tend to be a bit rape-y. I do think it was a dolphin who saved him though which is incredible. Lovely creatures sometimes, just like all animals I suppose.
I admire your spirit. If you can tread water for 20 hours, you are very strong, I learned the dead man's float" in the Marine Corps, which is totally restful and requires no effort. Bravo, young man.
Be sure he was floating...A Lot. Even if he never had successfully before, I’m sure he had to try. And watching TV, or others in the past, doing it, he had examples to go by. Salt water also keeps you more buoyant. Ppl commenting here who are rescuers, etc, are saying he must have been floating part of the time. Which I was thinking, regardless. I’m not a big time swimmer, myself...or floater. But you can bet if I was out in open water, I’d certainly be putting that to the test! And being on the coast, the bay here def is easier to tread water in, than the lakes. I prefer swimming in the lake, however. Walking & wading, the ocean.
@@dreamcatcher5502 Yeah. In the water vertically, like standing, take a deep breath and just hang your head forward, down in the water so that now only the back of your head is above water. Rest and hang there for ten seconds, rest. Then start to release air slowly while you spread your legs into a small step forward position, while you slide your arms up beside your body. Then slowly put arms out to the side so that now your body is in a T shape while legs spread like walking. When all your air is out you kick legs to push up your body while you lift your head and breathe while you use your arms to push down while you fill up your lungs. Then hang free again and rest with face underwater again and think of something else. Repeat for one hour for Red Cross Water Safety Instructor. Peace.
Not always. Some people have more body fat to muscle ratio and don’t have to tread at all. When I use to lifeguard we had this fat girl lifeguard. She was so buoyant she could barely swim under water. It was wild.

As a helicopter SAR swimmer one of the first things they taught us is how to conserve energy by floating, treading water and drown proofing. It’s difficult without being hammered.
It’s called a “dead man’s” float. It’s taught in all water survival classes whether military or paramilitary. You lie on your stomach or back and relax and just float. Of course doing it on your stomach you’re not sleeping but conserving energy. When it’s not your time it’s not your time.

For those who haven't figured it out, if he got drunk and decided to jump off he would have to pay for the rescue. That's why he "can't remember".
Waste of space... uses the God Saved me, bull... it was wasted tax dollars rescuing seone who admits he'll do it again!
Thank you D. I'll bookmark your comment for whenever I decide to jump off a Cruise Ship
Nobody can get anything over on you, you're way too smart. You're probably a millionaire and don't have to work.
Didn't think of that but it's 100% spot on! Hikers do the same thing when they get lost in the woods.

That’s just unbelievably insane, this man is meant to be here for something.
totally.
I love dolphins sometimes. I wouldn’t swim with them willingly though lol they tend to be a bit rape-y. I do think it was a dolphin who saved him though which is incredible. Lovely creatures sometimes, just like all animals I suppose.
He is here to drink more
Navy seal style
I do believe it. But I've never seen any records of them saving people like that. Have you? Movies and made up stories like this one don't count.
Are we going to get over the fact that in less than 24 hours he got so hungry he saw a piece of bambu and thought "damn that there looks delicious" 😂

I admire your spirit. If you can tread water for 20 hours, you are very strong, I learned the dead man's float" in the Marine Corps, which is totally restful and requires no effort. Bravo, young man.
Can you describe the dead man's float ?
@@dreamcatcher5502 when your tired from swimming you lay on your back to regain strength and just float and continue when your ready
