My son bought me this Dyson Airwrap for Christmas and as a hair stylist I’m so impressed. I also worked at a beauty Supply outlet in retail and found this tool did much better than any dryer and iron put together.

Thanks for your review. I just wanted to say the air wrap does not “suck” the hair, it actually “attracts” the hair due to an aerodynamic phenomenon called the Coanda effect. It’s very gentle yet super effective. Cheers!

Good tip with the fringe section. I'm going to try it. I usually turn it off after each curl before releasing it, that way it makes the curl neater, but I do quite like the messier curl look, so I'll try that method too to see how it turns out.

YES!!! This is perfect for fine hair. She is sooo beautiful and has such healthy, gorgeous hair! But I think every hair type can benefit from this product.

How do you get your curls to stay in? Mine never do. Do you have to always do it on wet hair? I don't like washing my hair everyday. Great video though, your hair looks amazing!
You can just spritz your hair with water to dampen it, I use an old hair product bottle filled with tap water. You don't want it completely wet anyway, so this makes it quicker

I believe the illness is Fibromyalgia, and it causes pain through the nerve endings throughout the body. I knew someone with it severely, not nice seeing it, so knowing that would you say the AirWrap is heavy? Is it stiff when changing the wands? Does it cause your arms to ache after a short period of time? LOVE your vids!! xxx
Ooo it's a little weighty, but I personally don't feel like it hurts my arms, however it might be different for someone with Fibromyalgia. I'd say the bit where my arm aches a little is blow drying my hair to start with before curling. But you could let your hair air dry first a little xxx
I have Fibromyalgia and find that the Dyson is so much easier to use than a hair dryer, brush, then straightener. I put the flat brush on to dry my hair. Did it the day before an appointment at the hairdressers. My hairdresser couldn’t believe that I hadn’t used a straightener. I use the wands to curl my hair which reaches to the bottom of my shoulder blades. Love it.
I bright thd Babylis big brush a few yrs ago and it was too heavy for me. I've got severe M.E., Fibromyalgia etc etc etc. I basically don't do anything to my fine hair, and I hate it, plus I have to lay on my side on the settee for a lot of the time, so one side would flatten anyway. Bugger! Lol

I don't understand how you kept the curl in?? I have very fine hair. After years of waiting, i FINALLY got one via the shopping channel. I'm disabled with Chronic Illnesses/Pain, and get very little quality time, when I'm well enough to have a shower and wash my hair. I usually do absolutely nothing to my hair, but for the first time today, i spent 40 minutes (yes, you read that right! 40 bloomin' minutes!!) messing around, drying it to 80%, and curling it, re-dampening my hair and trying again etc etc. I knew it would need some kind of setting lotion, and in the end i used TWO! I was using the middle heat setting and the high "sucking" setting, then used the cold shot for 10 seconds on each bit. After i finally looked like Shirley Temple, i used the extremely wide toothed comb that came with it, got the odd tangle out...... Looked in the mirror, and ALL THE CURLS HAD GONE!!! I'm absolutely shattered now, and found the cold air shot hurt my thumb and hand, as you have to keep that pushed "on" for each 10 second shot! (bought mine in Dec 2023, so it's one of the newer versions). This is my first time using this, and I'm sooo disappointed! My hair DOES feel a bit thicker and fuller, but all those curls and waves are gone 😢 Any advice for those of us with really fine, shoulder length hair?
Are you using the cold air shot as well? What products do you use? I'm disabled with Chronic Illnesses/Pain/Migraines so am only able to have a shower and wash my very fine hair every 1½-2 weeks. Can you just damp your hair down, on non wash days?

Yeah I much prefer a messier curled look - also sleep in a silk hair wrap as it keeps your curls in place over night

i recommend turning it off n then taking out the curl as sometimes as u take it out while it's on it can unravel the curl you've just done.
The instructions recommend using the cooling setting then switching off before you pull the wand out.

The hairdryer is better but you only need your hair blow dried sort of half way. It is powerful, but the hairdryer is better

If you look at the arrows on the wands in the mirror... that tells you which direction it will curl.

Not long at all, I'd say 5-10 minutes - super quick! Before if i was blow drying then styling it would take 15-30 minutes
