I definitely recommend watching a TH-cam tutorial when programming this register th-cam.com/users/postUgkxUfV3__sR_Jf5SY4t3gDY4RnI5yDVWuFa but it really is fairly easy to follow along when you are doing so! After I did it once, I was able to go back and fix a few things and change a few things on my own without having to refer back to the video… Out of all the registers I have priced in a similar price bracket, in my opinion this one is the best.

I get an error when I press the department button. So for example I put the amount, then press dept 1, but it just beeps and brings up an error. How do I fix this?

Are you entering the decimal point?
That could cause the error.
To enter the price just type the number then press the department.
So for £1.99 you would just type in 1 9 9 then press the department.
