Thank you for watching my video, I appreciate the support !
That hack frame cut-out truly is a double edged sword. It compromises vehicle frame integrity yet offers alternator and wiring accessibility. These longer videos offer great detail and are much appreciated. Thanks for all your hard work.
I definitely wasn't complaining when it came time to repair the harness, it's unfortunate that it was hacked up like that. Owner wasn't happy when I pointed that out. 🤷♂️
Great video, that kid's done well to find a decent, diligent mechanic such as yourself. That hack job on the alternator and the frame cutting are the hallmarks of an absolute crook and give mechanics a bad name. Well done mate, I enjoyed watching the process.
Nice one 👍🏼
Thanks for watching
Aha there's that socket I've been looking for🤣🤣🤣 ,,,free for you
I fought to get that thing out of there! Makes me wonder how it even got wedged in there 🤔
Good Job, Longer Videos Are Way Better Than Short, This Way We get To See Everything getting Figured out.
Thanks , glad you enjoyed the longer video. Editing wasn't fun lol
@@themechanic6117 As A Content Creator, I Understand The Editing gets Tough Sometimes, But I would Rather Watch 1 Long Video Than Jump Around trying to find Something To Watch, Plus i get To Learn New Stuff. Love Your Honda, I got A 93 Del Sol Myself.
@@Iseekoutthetruth then you understand lol, that's cool. I had a del sol before, didn't last long lol but I had one. I remember constant water problems and it had a really bad clutch that was slipping like crazy lol
Oh my gosh. I've often said "you see some cray stuff" but this takes the prize for stupidity. That $500 job will cost $1000 to patch that job. Mahew might be a tool company worth looking into.
Mayhew stuff has been 💪 for me and their prices are reasonable. I've seen people do little things to cut corners or make a job easier but this one definitely is the most egregious .
Kickstand spring pick. Smart tip with the masking tape. I believe the phrase is "I'll burn that bridge when I get to it!".
I've been wacked in the hand by a caliper because I removed a bolt.
It's not fun when you get whacked or pinched by one!
As soon as I noticed that frame work I would have refused to touch it. If his insurance company knew about it I'm sure they would not give coverage for it.
I see your point of view
I guess the Snap On warranty only applies to hand tools, not air tools?
I think I briefly looked into it, this type of tool isn't covered
You've got a lifetime customer in that kid now. That other crook ripped the kid off. You might be too far from me. I need front brakes. Pads & rotors. I'm in Chicago. 2012 Scion xB.
I'm in Valparaiso IN, I have a few customers that come out from Chicago
@@themechanic6117 I've been to Valpo many times! I need your info!
Whoever worked on that Mazda before should apply for a job at Boeing. Scary stuff, compromising safety to make a job easier. I’d be scared to drive that thing if I found out part of the subframe had been chopped off.
If I remember correctly the owner said it was his uncle who cut the frame but I'd need to confirm that .
The snap on is life time warrenty.
I also have the mayhew. I have broken 2 of then in 6 years. But I beat the hell out of them
I was certain a impact bit wasn't under lifetime warranty, I threw it out 😩
Looks like pookies cousin got ahold of that car. That cut is going to lead to the frame cracking and vehicle sent to the scrapper.
Hopefully the owner gets a few years out of it before that happens
@@themechanic6117 i hope so, but with the way roads are doubtful. The poor kid got a hard lesson on a free car. He'll remember this lesson for the rest of his life.
Frame rail delete 😮
Weight reduction lol
What are your payment methods? I'm in Chicago and I've been watching your videos for awhile now.

Weight reduction speed hole 😂😂😂
The one who did the cutting should go to jail. 5: 25: free socket! haha
I did end up getting that! It was stuck in there pretty good! Lol
