Reminds me of the Armored Core of old from the PS One to Three days before a new developer took over Armored Core and made the mechs more realistic and slow.
For anyone thinking that some of the suits look like gundams. There's a good reason for that. Takayuki Yanase helped the creative design teams on this. Some of the series he designed for are Gundam 00 and Witch from Mercury.
Same here. I expected the game to have single player story missions because the tutorial had you fighting a giant boss so hopefully they have both PVP and co op/single player PVE.
yeah, in the recent open beta footage they showed it looked like you could unlock new part for the strikers, or they could be variants like how exoprimal and other games have done,
On one hand I totally get the game wanting to be the multiplayer mecha, since AC6 isn't a live service game and whatnot, but man.... how I wish it also had a single player mode. AC6 is one of my favorite games of all time, I need more great mech games to play
i think melee mechs aren't very practical at range (obviously) but they can be great in tighter areas where ranged weapons cant hit fast and accurately enough not to cause damage to the surrounding environment, like a big city, or like how Gundam did it with minovsky particles interrupting longer range guided weapons, to the point that most fights are now in visual range, though they would be less practical in space where you don't really need to worry about property damage, and like you said, its awesome
It's Exteel and Armored Core and everything I love about mech games... And it's set to be free to play and multiplayer PvP oriented. I'm sooooooo hyped...
dude, we don't have enough new SINGLE player mech games. most mech games that have came out within the pass 10 years have been MULTIPLAYER focused. i'd kill for a game like this to have a good solid singleplayer experiance.
I don't think there's that much shortage of single player mecha games, in this year alone four have released and a new one is releasing in two months. Tho being good games is another issue.

third person hero shooter* also I spotted a G5Iguazu gettin rekt. the ITEHATTSD reference is also a nice gem. fortified/10 Armored Core 6 is still more interesting to me because of the different leg types. having a choice between red man, white man, green man and so on is boring compared to tank treads, four legs and reverse legs. AC6 can stay fresh this way because customization can fundamentally change the entire game.

Problem with PvP mecha is it takes away the feel of power without weaker enemies to stomp on. Titanfall knew this, giving you AI mooks to style on. Too often in PvP you go against someone more skilled or a better team and you feel like you are the mook. Add that to no ability to customize your own load out in any way, and I think I'll pass.
@@yourpapasbf252 Yeah, wouldn't exactly call people who devote all their time to being 'teh best' at a PvP game so they can act superior to people who don't have the time or will "winners", especially since driving away those "losers" as you put it only kills the game population, but what do I know? Congrats on being better than me in doing something I haven't tried to do, I guess. I bow to your greatness.
@@saintsinna How are you gonna sit there and be upset that someone is better at something than you? Either don't complain or attempt to learn the game better, acting like your entitled to be the best just because you don't have the patience or skill to be good is being a sore loser.
What are you planning do do to prevent cheaters? I'm already seeing people ask for hacks to be made for this on the usual cheater forum, and its very common for even betas to be full of cheaters these days. Do you have serious plans to stop this?
I dont think this was ever going to be a PvE game nor was it ever implied. But I do hope they add a single player campaign because you cant rely on online players long term.

The game is co-op, you play with your team against another team.

If youve playtested before you'll still need a new key, but you don't need to do anything as they'll just email you the new one.
