gg, glad this match was more even than the last one. I've been fairly ambivalent about the game so far, but playing Skyraider may have converted me. When I was younger I was big into mechs and arcade flying games like Ace Combat, so my fantasy was a seemlessly transforming mech that could go from F-15 to mech to F-15 again. It's kinda cool to see that his plane form seems to be the intended form, as opposed to GunEvo's Methuss flying which is just a mobility form. Color me curious.
Yeah the energy usage in the flight mode is pretty low which surprised me. You will burn through it a lot faster if you have to dodge more because enemies are focusing you, but otherwise it almost feels like you can fly forever.
ngl all i can think about watching this is how badly Supplice (Rayleonard 03-AALIYAH build, seen in the opening cutscene for Armored Core 4) would absolutely tear it the fuck up on these sorts of maps. might look into this game once i have a pc worth a shit.
I've played some on the community servers (including just a couple days ago), but it's kinda a pain to get into games. You either spend a lot of time waiting for a lobby to fill or you sit in spectate and hope that people are kind enough to rotate out and let other people in. That being said I'm glad there's a way to still play it even if it's not perfect, and it has been fun when the teams are mostly balanced.
It seems like you get so many abilities and moves at once but I'm thankful they went all out when most games wont touch half the stuff in this game. The IGN guy said this game reminded him of Halo idk how but I hope normies can get into it so the game doesn't die.
ITS NOT FLYING BUT HOVERING!? kinda sad but i guess it is what it is. i was expecting something close to zeta gundam from gundam versus or macross ace series flight mode. but i guess its diffferent

Have you heard of macross (or robotech)? Its a mecha anime that pretty much fits what youre saying. I loved it and grew up watching it.

Yeah it's a monster. We'll have to see how they nerf it and/or buff falcon because skyraider seems to be the clear winner right now.
Man, the close quarter combat is really similar to exvs and I'm all into that chaotic dog fight. Looking forward to play this game.
