El Estepario won in playing drums and You, my brother won in playing guitar. I'm not only inasanely impressed by the way how You executed those solos, but the thing You transitioned it all to your own tuning hypes me even more. I play 7string as well and never thought about that way. Changing tuning while playing in a band really stopped me from covering many of my favourite bands. Also, if you did the backing tracks mix it's another thing I'd like to bring up. It's awesome and I even connected with them to this level that I knew what's gonna happen next, if we're going straight into that solo or do we want to start next song with a riff. Man, that brought me joy! Mad props from Poland, dude. I hope You're still on guitar, that would be TREMENDOUS waste knowing that you've stopped. Take care!

I've been play guitar for 12 years now and I know my way around the instrument and I got some Bodom covers too on my page too. Just want to say that what you did in this video is really really impressive. Not only are you a dedicated COB fan but you got some amazing dexterity to do that many Laiho solos in a row, I am impressed.

what can I say? Alexi is a psycho on guitar and keyboard solos! to me all solos are the best from all the albums, it's hard to choose just one. but from follow the reaper album definitely "kissing the shadows" takes the prize. it blows your mind away! no doubt
Dude your a great guitar player alexi music is no joke but you nailed it. I'm really on to children of bodom right now and I know first hand how hard this music is to get right. It takes time and lots of it. But I must say you did a fantastic job. There was a few muffled Notes and a late bend or 2 but I must say your are an excellent guitar player anyone who has negative comments to say are just jealous. Rock on bring. Simplemente notable, el primer video tuyo que vi fue la impecable version de Serpent kiss de Symphony X, no cualquiera puede tocar como el Maestro Romeo y tu lo hiciste impecable, ahora sacaste todos los solos de Children (no solamente del follow the reaper) y tocaste el solo, a mi parecer mas genial y bestial de alexi, a la perfeccion "kissing the shadow"..... wow nada que decir eres una maquina viejo felicitaciones.

For example from 3:48 to 4:02 that's D (3rd fret on the low B-string and 5th on the E-string). So it must be B Standard. But yeah anyway.

Between 2:45 and 3:06 did you use a delay? Good job on the vid, I reckon with a tab I could do some of yhose solos but to do all without a tab takes skill. Well done
@ArmsterCommentaries it's waaayyyy easier to learn stuff like this by ear rather than tab, man. Once you learn the scales, all you have to do is listen closely for the pattern used and you've learned yourself a solo
