Damn, I miss this era of COB! They were more melodic and creative back then, and on "Follow The Reaper", they had perfected it all. With songs like Everytime I Die, Bodom After Midnight, Mask Of Sanity, Children Of Decadence, Hate Me, Follow The Reaper & Taste Of My Scythe, COB created something beautiful :o

what happens, I couldn't give a damn or too.
    [Prech.2.]
The portal has been past 'til the
point of no return. No more lines to cross,
    no more bridges to burn.
    [Ch.2.]
Now when your blindly death-raying blade
swept my griefs and tears away. I'd never go back
    to cross that line.
I cross my heart and hope to die.

@SilverNL92 I totally agree. An awesome introduction to the album. Love how it makes use of the keyboardist as well not just "screamo" or all solos, very balanced and has an incredible feel to it.
Also, love how in the video they go from Bodom after Midnight into Reaper! Must have blown people's minds.

That 4:41 solo is sick. I could almost melt in my seat listening to that riff.

I turned my late mother onto metal back in the eighties. When I think of how she used to talk about the intricate solos of Eddie Van Halen, I can't help but think of how she would have appreciated this. She passed away last year at the age of 78 and still listened to metal. It's a shame I didn't discover these guys sooner.

I love the little extra harmonics he throws in after that solo.
