Loving the precision layout leaving room for the antenna to poke through. Six months later, how’s it holding up? Don’t feel the need to add a fairing up front? ‘13 foz owner here, so digging the diy vids. Killer work!
Thank you! Yeah it could probably use a fairing to reduce wind noise but i haven’t noticed much difference in my mpgs so I thinks it’s fine without one. It’s holding up really well! I may rebuild it in the future with some higher quality materials ,like the square tubing cross bars, bc they’re pretty flexible under a lot of weight. And I added some pipes as railings for more support when storing things up there.
I sold my car about a year later. The only issue I had in that time was that a couple of the nuts kept coming loose but I’m sure there are better ones to use that are designed to not come loose from vibration

How do you say thank you in Maori? 😄
congrats!!! so nice for photography! Thanks for your video.
awesome
you could have used thread locker or double nuts in order to avoid loosening and loosing them
Oh thanks for the tip! I’ll try that in the future
nice!
Good job! 🤩
Thank you!

So, how has it lasted over the years?
