Thank you so much for sharing this!! I have been pondering the configuration I need and this answers several of my technical "will it work" questions. 👍🤙✌
I liked your design very much! Could you have used the metal frame underneath the deck boards? That way a person could lie down and not be poke by the bolts:)
Was that a side vent i noticed on the other vehicle? I am looking to install one on my econoline in same location. Driver's side, rear. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
dude your videos are all over the place. it makes it really hard to follow your progress and watch the videos in order. do you think you can make a dedicated play list for each of these projects?
Hey bud thanks for the feedback and a kick in the pants. I’ve been super busy but need to make time for editing and updating the channel. Playlists coming your way. 🙌
Thanks Steve! I just went back through my build videos to find out….I traced the cutouts with a marker and then used an exacto knife to cut the holes and fan opening. You’re right about the headliner and the razor blade was the only way I could come up with that wouldn’t hack it up.
Awesome work! I've been looking for a low-profile solar panel gutter mount for my Econoline. Looked at the Vantech site. Only found where they describe the 11". Would you have the exact model number you show here for the gutter clamp style?
Good eye! I actually took the window out and made a copy of the window out of 3/16 aluminum. I might do a video on it...just need to see how much footage I have.
Absolutely incredible work!! Great job looks so good and functional and didn’t cost you 2k for a full rack. It’s airdynamic and doesn’t weight a ton
Thanks, it came out pretty good!
Great job very well thought out I like how everything lines up nice and straight.
Thanks, my OCD likes it too! Lol

You're very welcome, glad it was helpful!
Looks awesome
Thanks!!!

Thanks! There are bolts on both sides….the ones I used though are very low profile and rounded so you would never even notice them.
You could make a killing selling this!!! I know if I attempted this it wouldnt be as nice LOL
lol...yeah it was quite the pain to build but ended up pretty cool! Not sure about mass producing it though.

Thanks! It’s a Maxxfan…usually people mount them on the roof but they are also designed for side mounting.

I loved the playlist!
Awesome stuff!! What tools did you use to cut the fan hole and puck light holes in the stock headliner?

Thanks! I originally bought it on Amazon but don't see it listed...here it is from the Vantech website:

Ty ! Much appreciated!
Is that a fan on the left rear window? How did you do that?
