Jomtien has changed alot since I last saw it in 2008, especially from a little before the Casa apartments and then going right up to the end of the beach road. Last time I was there I stayed a month in a top floor apartment at Casa for only $15 a night. Was entertaining 3 to 6 lovely lady friends there every night. The best times in my life. Back then, after Casa, well most of the hi rise apartments were there and a very light sprinkle of bars, restaurants and shops, but the rest was mostly abandoned buildings and bare blocks overgrown with weeds. There was a few very nice restaurants right up the end though but it was mostly out in the sticks back then haha. Sure do miss it. Thanks again Buddy. 👍🙂
One time I had a girlfriend 1.39.49 she first work in restaurant and after that in a bar. Well I came to visit her, take the bahtbus and when I step out there was strange wind, 1 minute later the rain came. First I try to take help under a tree, no helpt at all. There was no bar, just hotels. And like you know Thai rain is like a shower. I came to the bar, choking wet. My girlfriend was working, a lot of nice girls saw me so wet. Take of my shirt, helped me. I never forget it. Thai rain can be like a shower. I like the area, but no bahtbus. I like Naklua, I like Jomtien, but not as afr you go.I walk, so Jomtien from Soi 2 till Soi Whithouse. One time I came from Pattaya and there was work on the street so keep going with bahtbus on second road and then turning around. I get out on the beach and the bar was fantstic, trees so nice. Perhaps the best terras I ever saw. This is a fucking great vlog!

I've been going to Thailand since 2006 mostly in Phuket although I did once have an apartment in Surin City. Looking forward to being back in Phuket in July / August as I think I've worn Bali out for now. Quite like both Bali and Phuket in rainy season because not that much rain and bargains to be had accommodation wise also not so crowded. It's always quite nostalgic returning to Phuket looking at places and bars that hold so many memories over many years and reminders of friends some of whom are no longer with us. Strangely comforting. Thanks for sharing!

Attach a timer plug to the battery charger. That way You set it for a couple to thre hours and shuts off automatically. You will never overcharge a battery that way. I've had batteries overheat to the point of coming close to melting.
You can use it on a power bank or battery, but don’t use it while it is fully charged while it is hooked up to a external source , because it will overcharge the battery, that is how you kill the battery, you can let it go low and then reconnect the power bank , again , till it gets full then disconnect it ,
I would like to go there but I sure wouldn’t go there without my family. You must be working over there because that would be pretty lame of you to leave your family .
No It's not !! lots of people leave trash on the beaches ! .... I'm not bashing the Thai people as a whole but .... most of the time when you see trash on the beach it's left there by Thai locals .....even my Thai wife will confirm this and often wonders out loud why her own countrymen do this !

So he would have more budget for fun in pattaya. You have been to Pattaya right? Whatever purpose someone gives besides the beer bars for visiting pattaya is a liar. Better beaches, food, medical care, and nightlife can be found elsewhere in thailand. He just got back from a 2 month trip in thailand a few months ago. Once he scraps up enough to get a retirement visa in thailand he will no doubt abandon yet another family.

He can’t tell you , he is on a business trip , probably a CIA bodyguard, he probably gotta just stand around with a gun when someone important walks by , only works an hour or two for a few days at a time , then he has to go back home and stay outa trouble till they call him again

Take Bolt it’s like Uber from Bangkok to Pattaya 1400 Baht
Airporter bus from BKK airport to Jomtien (Pattaya ) is about 300 baht !
