RE: Sammy Davis Jr, his most underrated song IMO was Shelter Of Your Arms in Dec 1963...”Nobody gives a hang for what I say or do”...in later live shows, “hang” was replaced with the more traditional “damn”. Same Bat time, same Bat channel
I always felt that JC took in the entirety of my intention. Every time I'd apologize for some outburst, he'd say "Barbara Streisand's nose", meaning don't change anything, because you wouldn't be you if you changed one thing. I always loved that about him, because he loved me being me, no matter what. :-)
